Anastasius pov

"alex" i say, nudging his side continuously.

"wake up" i shouted. he didn't budge.

breathing heavy, and my eyes swelling up with tears. "mom" i yell.

"what is it" she exclaims, running into the room.

her face turned to a frown, and rushed over to the bed.

"alex, hunny. wake up" she says calmly, he doesn't move.

"mom what's wrong" i ask.

"go to your room, Stace" she says sternly.

"but mom, is he okay" i say.

"no, i think. i think he's passed" she says, her voice cracking.

"he can't be, no mom. you're all playing a prank. haha, right alex? *nudges him* come on alex, prank over good try" i say, with tears in my eyes.

"baby, Stace" she starts to say until i ran out of the room.

i jolt up, breathing heavy. i looked around, i was in my room. a nightmare. i laid back down, tears coming out of my eyes repeatedly.

it was 3 in the morning. i hate these nightmares.

i jumped as someone knocked on my bedroom door and came in. it was Ethan.

he shut the door behind him and stayed in front of the door.

"i heard you mumbling to yourself and crying"

"oh, i'm sorry"

"are you okay?" he asked, walking to my bed.

i nodded "i will be eventually" lightly smiling.

"well i'll stay here, to make sure it's alright"

i for-rowed my eyebrows but moved over to give him room on the bed and moved my blanket and sheets.

he sat down beside me. "so what was the nightmare about" he asked.

"alex" i say, shaking my head. "i have the same thing in my nightmare. me yelling for him to wake up and yelling for mom, the day i seen him dead"

"i'm sorry" he says, quietly.

he knows about alex, my brother who was only 11 months older than me. practically my twin brother. he died in his sleep, the doctors said it was a seizure.

i sighed and laid down. Ethan moved closer to me and placed an arm over my waist and above my waist.

"goodnight Stace" he says.

"night Ethan" i say.

"i love you" he says under his breath.

what. it couldn't be that. how, there's no way. i'm just tired.

i shook my head and went back to sleep.

side note: i got this plot from a girl on quotev, some of the scenes and actions will be the same, but i'm trying to make most of it different.
