Stace's pov

it was the next day, the day Ethan said he was taking me on a date. it wasn't until 7:30, but it's 3 right now, so i called Abi, Theo and Cory. the guys can't really help with my appearance but they'll just be here to hangout.

they all came rushing into my room at once.

"well hello" i say, from my spot on my bed.

abi rushed over to me and sat on my bed as Theo and Cory got comfortable in either my bean bag, or my window seat.

"where's he taking you?" Cory asked.

i shrugged, "he didn't tell me."

"ooo a secret, fun!" abi says.

"yeah i suppose."

"you don't seem very excited," Theo said.

"i guess i'm just nervous. plus, we're not really dating. who cares about some fake date."

"it's december, i think it'll be nice" abi says.

i smiled. i'm glad one of us is happy.

at 5:30 abi started rummaging through my closet.

"he said to dress warm," i spoke patiently waiting for me to have to try on a billion different outfits, knowing abi.

and just like that she had 6 outfits she wanted me to try on.

the 4th outfit i tried on seemed to be the winner.

it was some nice beige pants that tie up (picture) along with a cute long sleeve jumper, it wasn't too thick but not too thin either. she also paired up my black combat boots and my black over the shoulder small purse.

i decided to tuck in my sweater into my pants.

i looked in my mirror and then at abi.

"amazing," she spoke, smiling.

i laughed and sat on my bed. i didn't really do much with my hair. i let it be natural, it was wavy/straight and i liked it.

and i don't wear makeup, it never interested me. i wore it twice and that was to make abi happy.

at this point it was now 7pm.

theo and cory have left my room about 20 minutes earlier to make food.

Abi and i walked out of my room and went downstairs into the living room to wait.

then, the doorbell rang. it was 7:30.

"it's time," abi said.

i chuckled, "why the suspense."

she shrugged.

i went up to the door and opened it and there was Ethan.

"you look great," he said.

"thank you, you do too." he smiled.

"ready to go?" he asked.

i nodded, "Chloe i'm leaving with Ethan!" i shouted.

"have fun!!" i heard a faint yell.

"goodbye you both, have fun. not too much, but have fun" Theo says, popping up behind me.

i rolled my eyes, "BYE"

Ethan chuckled as we sat in his vehicle.

"crazy bunch are they?" Ethan asked, gesturing my friends.

"pft you can only imagine."

he chuckled and started his car up and we were off.

*10 minutes later*

"okay we're 5 minutes away, put this blind fold on," Ethan said, grabbing a black blind fold out of his pocket.

i gave him a weird look but he just smiled and nodded at the blind fold.

i put it around my eyes then tied it.

it was silent for a minute, then he spoke.

"okay, we're here. i'll come get you so you don't fall"

i nodded. i heard my door open then Ethan grabbed my hands and guided me out.

"okay a few more steps... aaand we're here take your blind fold off," he spoke after a few seconds.

i unknotted the blind fold and took it off slowly and looked around.

i smiled instantly.

we were at a different part of town, only 15 minutes away from my house. it was the part of town that people went to, to walk around to see the christmas lights and decorations. then after usually would go to the cafe nearby, it was like a thing in our town people did. mainly couples.

i mentioned this place to Ethan a few weeks ago, i didn't think he'd remember me saying i loved them but i haven't been since i was 12.

"you remembered?" i said, my face growing with a smile.

"of course, you said you wanted to come back again soon but didn't know when you could sooo i wanted to make it a little date." he spoke as he came up behind me and placed his arms around my neck, lightly hugging me.

i held onto his arms and looked around taking it all in.

we spent a little while walking around and talking, probably close to 2 hours.

"let's get a picture," Ethan says.

"okay," i replied.

we stopped by one of the cute little picture spots and waited for someone to walk by.

"excuse me ma'am, can you take a quick picture of me and my girlfriend?" Ethan asked a woman who seemed to be maybe in her mid 50's.

"oh why of course!" she spoke, taking Ethan's phone.

We took a smiling photo then a goofy one, thanks to the woman who took the photos she told us what would look cute.

We were gonna take one last photo, then Ethan said my name.

i looked over at him and he kissed me as i heard his phone click.

"thank you," Ethan said to her.

"No problem, you guys make a great couple."
