Chapter 6: (Naomi)

Naomi•

"EHH!? Seiko and Kishinuma?" I blurted out loud, people standing at their shoe lockers stared at us.

"Naomi, you got to be quiet..besides it's just a hunch." Satoshi said coolly.

"I don't know..it sounds like a fairy tale to me, I mean..Kishinuma doesn't seem like the kind of guy she'd be into." I said with a sigh.

"You'd be surprised to know that Yoshiki, isn't a bad guy, in fact, I trust him more than anybody else..sure he seems like a delinquent on the outside, but once you get to know him on the inside, he's a pretty cool guy." Said the brown haired boy as he looked outside.

"Satoshi.." I murmured.

"Look, they're leaving!" Satoshi pointed towards the school gate, where Kishinuma and Seiko were, I was shock to see Seiko walking so close to him.

"If this is the case..then we have no other choice!" I said to Satoshi as I grabbed his hand and ran outside to follow Seiko and Kishinuma.

"Hey! Naomi! Wait, where are we going?!" The boy behind me shouted as I ran, trying to catch up.

"We got to see what's up with those two, so we got to follow them!" I replied back shouting.

After all of this chasing, we finally were able to stop..in front of..Seiko's house?

"Uh, Naomi..I think you can let go now." Satoshi said quietly.

I looked back and pulled my hand away, I felt my face get red.

"AH, SORRY!" I said loudly, forgetting that we were spying.

Satoshi clamped his hand over my mouth and placed his pointer finger in front of his lips. He then looked around the wall we hid behind, to see Yoshiki and Seiko talking, I followed, she seemed so happy..it kind of made me feel a mixture of jealously, sadness, and happiness. If what Satoshi suspects what she feels for Kishinuma is true, I'm not sure how I would feel. Would we be slowly pulled away from each other? I don't know if I could handle that.

"Well if that's it Shinohara-San..I should probably head out." Kishinuma said gently to Seiko.

Seiko looked at him like she wanted to say something, but couldn't get it out, instead of saying anything she handed the blonde a piece of paper, then said something to him that neither Satoshi or me could make out. She then ran up to her door and waved to Kishinuma with a smile, Kishinuma followed back with a wave while scratching his head. After Seiko closed her door, Yoshiki turned onto our position and spoke.

"Oi, I know you two are already there, so just come out."

"GUH?" Was what both Satoshi and I responded with, then proceeded to come out of hiding.

"Geez, if you two want to spy on somebody, I think the key essential is to be quiet about it." Said Kishinuma while stretching.

We both bowed our heads and asked for forgiveness, and luckily for us we got it.

"Anyways, I don't have time to fool around, I'm already pretty damn late, I gotta go, see ya!" He said as he took off in a full sprint.

"Well there goes..our lead." Satoshi said tediously.

"Yeah." I replied back, to be honest I'm kind of glad I didn't ask, I don't know how I would react if he had answered honestly to liking Seiko.

"I'm going to go home." I said while walking away.

"Is that so? I'll walk yo-" I cut off Satoshi's generosity.

"No, that's fine, I just need to unwind for the day, and I think I need to be alone for a bit."

"I see. I guess I'll see you Monday then, see you later, Naomi." He said, I could feel that he was a little hurt, but that wasn't what I had on my mind at the moment..it was mostly why Seiko hadn't told me about..this. Maybe I'm overthinking it, maybe I should just text her later to get it straight.
