"So Shinohara wants you to walk her home huh?" I said while giving Yoshiki a playful shove.
"Would ya knock it off ya jackass...it's not like that,"
"..Besides I like somebody else." He said back.
"Oh really? Who is it then? I questioned.
There was a long pause before he gave me an answer.
"Even though you're my best friend and all Satoshi..my lips are sealed." He said happily.
"Hey! C'mon Yoshiki, that's not fair!" I said.
Yoshiki was putting his notebooks in his schoolbag and I was doing the same, we then walked out of the classroom continuing out conversation. The two of us walked to the front entrance by the shoe lockers and began changing back into our regular shoes.
"You know Satoshi..Naomi couldn't keep her eyes off you earlier." Said Yoshiki.
"What are you getting at?" I responded.
"Nothing really." He replied as he smiled and bent down to put his shoes on.
Out of nowhere, my "delinquent" friend shouted, catching me off guard.
"OH SHIT!"
"W-What is it?!" I asked excitedly.
"I'm gonna be late to work if I don't haul ass!" He replied as he closed his shoe locker and ran out "See ya Satoshi!" Yoshiki said again.
"See ya." I said quietly, unsure if he heard me.
I closed my locker and turned to see Yoshiki talking with Shinohara outside by the gate. She was smiling very brightly, I've never seen her this happy unless she's with Naomi..unless she lik- hmmm..
"Well if that's the case, take care of him Shinohara-San, he's a great guy." I said to myself quietly.
"Who's a great guy?" Asked a familiar voice.
I turned to see it was Naomi, who was already to leave.
"Uh..Well..heh..haha, it's nothing, really." I replied tediously
"Well that takes the cake, give it up Satoshi, you've been caught red-handed at lying!" Naomi said playfully.
I inhaled, then spilled the beans to Naomi.
"I believe that there is...something going on between Shinohara-San and..Yoshiki."
