"I'm telling you guys" Juniper said, crossing her arms as she walked through the halls, "an aging potion is not nearly powerful enough to fool the goblet. The age line, maybe, but the actual goblet itself is definitely charmed to prevent underage students from entering."

"That won't stop us from trying." George laughed, nudging Junipers shoulder causing her to bump into Fred and make him stagger to the side. In response, Fred bumped her back into George and it was his turn to stumble.

"Hey!" Juniper laughed. "I'm not a ping pong ball."

"You could be." The twins said simultaneously.

"Oi, watch it." Juniper stopped and pointed at them threateningly. "Or I'll turn your fingers into snakes."

"Oi, watch it." They copied, mocking her.

Juniper punched them both in the arm and followed them into the darkened Great Hall where the Goblet of Fire was being held. A group of students surrounded it, the younger ones watching as the older ones entered their names.

Leaving the Weasley twins to fail horribly, Juniper walked over to a tall Hufflepuff boy standing off to the side and writing his name on a piece of parchment.

"I see you're putting your name in the goblet." Juniper said, leaning against the wall next to Cedric.

"Hey, Juniper." He smiled, looking up at her. "Yeah, I am."

"Good luck." Juniper said and followed him as he approached the goblet. She stopped at the age line while he threw the paper in. "The challenges are difficult and extremely dangerous."

Cedric returned to stand next to her and they watched as Fred and George tried entering their names. "You talk as if you've been in one." He glanced at her.

"Not exactly." She stated plainly.

Students from each of the three schools piled into the Great Hall, scattered about randomly. Juniper sat next to Draco and two of his goons, who for some reason, were sitting in set of bleachers that were mostly occupied by Durmstrang boys. She had thought about sitting with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, but she'd been avoiding them since the incident during breakfast. They hadn't done anything wrong, but Juniper knew they would ask a lot of questions she didn't yet have the answer to.

"Sit down please." Dumbledore waved his hands downward. "And now the moment you've all been waiting for, the champions selection!"

Dumbledore approached the blue flame and it glowed red. A piece of parchment flew out and he caught it. Everyone looked at him anxiously as he read the name.

"The Durmstrang champion is ... Viktor Krum!"

The students stood and cheered as Viktor left and went into another room where he would wait for the other two champions.

The flame turned red again and another name flew out.

"The champion from Beauxbatons... Fleur Delacour" Dumbledore announced and the cheering started up again.

Fleur, who Juniper had realized was the same girl she had seen at the welcoming ceremony, walked out and to the other room.

The last name flew out of the goblet. "The Hogwarts champion... Cedric Diggory."

Cedric smiled and stood, receiving congratulatory pats on the back. Juniper cheered and sent him a thumbs up as he left.

"Excellent! We now have our three champions! But in the end only one will go down in history. Only one will hoist this chalice of champions, this vessel of victory the triwizard cup!" Dumbledore announced as Barty Crouch unveiled the blue and silver cup.
