Anderson:

It's been a few months of me and Thorn dating, and we've been rather careful not to have Iscariot, mostly Maxwell, find out about it. Sir Integra has been very gracious as to keep our affair a secret from Maxwell, and Alucard has been the usual type of father you'd expect. I was on a mission in Hungry, dealing with a small pack of werewolves. They had been taking young boys of 13 and making them go missing, until days later they show up again, saying crazy stories of being bitten and turned, forcing parents and others to confine theses kids into one specific place away from the rest of the populace. It was my job to eliminate the ones hurting the kids, and to hopefully help cure the kids. A werewolf cure is one of the trickiest things to make, and it did classify as a potion and as witchcraft, so it had to be done by a local witch who knew how to do the spell properly. I had just found the den where the wolves were living, and was bracing to take them on, when my phone vibrated in my pocket.

I looked at the caller ID, and saw it was Thorn. I shot her a quick text saying I was working and I call her later. I put my phone back in my pocket, and looked back at the den to find the wolves making their way out for the night.

" Alright, you remember the plan, yes?"

" Of course. Snag two more boys, then bite them, then set them loose."

" Good."

" Mind if I interject, gents?"

I walked out from my hiding place, and both wolves got antsy.

" Who the hell are you?"

" You may call me Judas Priest, heathens."

" Heathens? You don't look like much yourself, prick. Get lost, or we will make you regret ever crossing us."

I summoned a bayonet, and started my prayers, and it was then they realized that I wasn't going away, and that I was going to fight. They transformed into their wolf counter parts, and they looked very different. One was grey like a timber wolf, while the other had a silvery grey coat, with more silver than grey. Damn it! One was a Silver Fang and the other was a regular. This did not bode well for me. The Silver Fang snarled, and sure enough, his teeth were sparkling like my cross in the moonlight. I had a silver dagger, but that won't work on the stronger one, the ordinary one would be simple, the Silver Fang could kill me if it wanted to.

" What you gonna do now, papist?!"

I pulled out the dagger, and lunged forward to the ordinary timber wolf, only to get tossed back by the Alpha of the two. I could feel my ribs break and repair, allowing me to get back up rather quickly. I felt a familiar shadow cross over me, but I couldn't pin it exactly. The Silver Fang leaped at me, only for a neon blur to throw it back into a tree, knocking into the timber wolf in the process. I know this blur, and damn was I happy to see it.

" Hungarian Silver Fang and a regular Transylvanian timber wolf. Piece of cake. You ready, love?"

" I am now."

Thorn smiled, and it reminded me of when we first met, that malice and hatred and anger, it made my step falter for a moment. She jumped forward, a pole arm forming from the shadows of the trees. The Silver fang was her priority, I got the timber wolf. I had pinned the timber wolf to a tree with the dagger, his body reverting back to human, his body then turning to dust. I see the Silver Fang was taking a beating, so I just sat back and watched.

" Great job, honey! Keep it up!" I laughed out.

" Your his girlfriend!? A priest and a damphyr?! Now I've seen everything!" The wolf laughed, until the pole arm went through his chest, the handle of the weapon buried into the ground, and I just felt the moment. She really was like her father.

" I suggest you shut up and take a seat right there. Lex, I need the dagger, please."

I pull the dagger from the tree, and walk over, handing it to her. She cuts her thumb on the tip, and mutters something in a language I didn't recognize.

"Sunteți condamnat la moarte prin sângele tatălui meu, regele Nosferatu, iar eu, prințesa lui, vă vom pune în somnul etern."

( You are condemned to death by the blood of my father, King Nosferatu, and I, his princess, will put you in eternal sleep.)

The wolf's eyes turned white, and his body slowly turned to dust as the blood from her thumb dripped into the wound. She healed herself, and the wolf was gone, the pole arm was clear of any evidence that the monster had existed. She pulled the weapon out of the dirt, and it dissolved back in to her shadows.

" How in the hell did you find me, first off, and how are you here?"

" Tata brought me, and I found you through our Mate's bond. Think of it like a GPS tracking chip of sorts, but much older and a hell of a lot more accurate."

" And can I use this to find you as well?"

" Of course. You might have a harder time with it, but I doubt you couldn't."

We walked back to the cabin I was given as my place of residency for the mission, to find Maxwell sitting on the stairs in front of the door, looking furiously at Thorn, and then looking even more madly at me.

We are in so much trouble.
