Another Day, Another Princess

Andersen: 

The mission went off without a hitch, and soon, we were on a plane back home to Hellsing. I watched the girls and saw that they really were twins, down to the way they would smile. 

" Thorn, I was wondering something." 

" What's that, love?" 

" How in the hell am I going to tell you two apart?" 

" What do you mean?" 

" You two look identical, right down to how you speak, smile, and everything." 

" Well, that's easy, Alex. Look." 

Umbră and Thorn showed me their necks, only Thorn had a mark. 

" Look for your Mate's mark. I almost never wear stuff on my neck, it makes me nervous." 

" Exactly. I love my necklaces and chokers." 

" Alright. Alucard is still going to flip to find out about you, Umbră."

" Please, call me Bri. It makes me sound sort of normal, like I wasn't intentionally named Shadow Devil." 

" I'm Blood Devil, welcome to my hell." 

" How karmic that the two vampire princesses are named after the two things really associated with a vampire."

" Well, when your mother is a vampiric cultist and your father is the No-Life King, you really don't get much creepier than blood and shadow, to be fair." 

" True." 

Alex got up to talk to the pilot, and came back with a smile.

" Alright ladies, we land in five. Bri, if you wanna change, do it now." 

" Ok." 

Bri grabbed a change of clothes and locked herself into the bathroom, Thorn kissed me and we waited. This was going to be a long, long night. 

" Do you think Tata will be happy?" 

" Maybe. He was very accepting of you when you were found, maybe he will be the same with Bri." 

Bri had finished getting changed, and we all piled into the car. I called Integra ahead of time, telling her about Bri, and the poor woman had a severe bitch fit from hell. I know Alucard might be getting an earful, but it was necessary. Less of a shock, really. We pulled into Hellsing, Walter was there to greet us with drinks. I could smell that the red glass was blood for Thorn, and the other two were fruit punch. Thorn grabbed her glass without a second thought and took a few deep swallows. 

" Thank you Walter, where are Tata and Seras?" 

" In the office with Sir Integra, Princess." 

" Thank you, Walter. Let's go."

We walked up, drinks in hand, and Bri looked at Thorn's glass curiously.

" What are you drinking?" 

" Blood. It helps me keep my abilities strong and it replenishes me to one hundred percent." 

" Could I try a sip?" 

" Talk to Tata first. He will know what to do better than I." 

Thorn walks through the door, and Bri looked at her in slight concern. 

" Does she do that often?" 

" Almost habitually now. She rarely ever knocks or opens a door, anymore."
