Judd entered Alix's truck, uninvited, and scowling. Alix on the other hand, was hesitant to enter, seeing that her passenger was fiddling with his switchblade.
Taking a deep breath and reluctantly creaking open her door, enters her vehicle.
"What are you doing here?"
"Good question. Start driving"
"Where to, sunshine?"
Not taking the nickname to heart, Judd flashed a quick scowl Alix's way, then toward the passenger side window
"Liquor store, I'll give you directions as we go"
Rapidly approaching the musty store, Judd slams his door wide open and orders the already shaken driver to wait in the car
"Judd, wait!"
"What?"
"Bring me back a sweet tea"
"Ugh"
And with that being said, he vanished into the store, leaving Alix with her thoughts for what felt like centuries, which in reality was only about 25 minutes.
Abruptly opening the metal door, creating a noise that could summon cthulu, snapped Alix back into reality
"So?"
"What?"
"My tea?"
"Oh, fuck off"
Dropping paper bags full of alcohol into the bed of the truck, Judd hops into his seat, but not without slamming the door shut, causing others to turn their heads.
"Drive"
"You really need to learn to specify"
"And you need to shut the fuck up and start driving to my house"
"Y'know I really don't feel like being belittled by Lia-"
"Hmmmmm, too bad. Drive"
Speeding toward the suburban neighborhood from the gross part of Bridgeton felt like a breeze, that area in particular creeped Alix out, but she would rather spend 10 years there than near Lia for 3 minutes.
"Is it okay if I just drop you off? I really, really, really don't want to see Lia"
"Too bad, she sees us"
Looking down upon the two was Lia, keenly observing from her bedroom window that peered down to the driveway
"Hey fuckers! Hurry up! People are going to be getting here soon!"
Shifting uncomfortably in her seat, and Judd grabbing Alix by her forearm, just above her wrist, ushered her to the bed of her truck to retrieve the drinks and escort them into the kitchen where Lia, and the youngest of the Birch household, Nick.
"Nicky, I don't want your creepy fucking friends at another one of my parties; the last time one of them were here, he kept screaming 'Party Wolf' and gave a kid alcohol poisoning with that cotton candy brandy bullshit"
"Lia, listen to me, high school parties are way cooler than lame middle school ones, the boys, Jessi and I-"
"Ah-bup-bup-bup, nooope, no more of your friends crashing my parties"
"Too late, they're already here"
*Doorbell Rings*
'Oh you've got to be kidding me'
In comes in 3 prepubescent boys and 2 young girls, practically busting through the door with how loud they were
"I'm just saying, Val and Curt are nice dudes once you get past the whole 'Jizzcuit' thing"
"THEY TRIED TO MAKE US EAT THEIR JIZZ, JAY!"
Eyeing Judd, absolutely lost for words, stood Alix, standing in the kitchen doorway, gawking at the statement the small, lanky hispanic boy with a unibrow was ranting about, and why her siblings were hanging out with him.
"Hey Cici, Dan?"
"Oh! Alix! These are our friends! Andrew, Jay, Jessi, and it looks like you already met Nick"
'You've gotta be shitting me'
