"I think I should leave now..."

"Aw, come on. At least stay an hour longer"

"You're gonna have to do some better convincing than that"

"Hmmm. Let's go, you're packing an overnight bag"

Baffled, Alix stared wide-eyed into the eyes piercing into her soul, ill-intent hidden inside

"What? What do you have in mind?"

"Just do it"

Trudging past a swarm of teen boys and girls, feeling the humidity in the air as soon as they stepped out of Judd's room and out toward the driveway. Glancing at her car, a predicament arose.

"My car's blocked in"

"We'll walk"

"I'm in heels!"

"Take them off"

Stripping from her stilts, the two walked to the Hansen residence. Stopping at her doorstep, Alix turned to Judd before unlocking the door

"Where have you been lately? You've been MIA for a long time"

"I'll explain later. For now, get your shit"

A sharp exhale could be faintly heard escape Alix's lips, turning back to the door, the girl slowly unlocked the door, peeked her head in to see the lights off, and her house vacant.

"Alright, get in here"

Stepping into the quiet house and ushering Judd to stay put on a rickety old couch while Alix went to pack a bag.

Shoving a pair of pajamas, an outfit for the next day, and hygienic essentials, the old backpack that Alix hadn't used since middle school was finally put to use after years of neglect

"Where are we going?"

"Back to my place"

Returning to Judd's house, pushing past sweaty kids and trying to escape the smell of bad B

Returning to Judd's house, pushing past sweaty kids and trying to escape the smell of bad B.O., Alix and Judd crept back into his room, luckily, no one had occupied it with their late night shenanigans.

"I'll lay out a blanket for you to crash on"

"So, I'm staying the night I presume?"

"Yeah. You got a problem with that?"

"As long as I don't have to stay with your sister"

Chuckling to himself, Judd stripped to change into his lounge wear

"Should I be in here?"

"What? It's not like you haven't imagined me stripping before"

A subtle pink flushed Alix's face, looking away from Judd
