Aanya's POV
I asked Ruhaan to meet me in the Cafe..
Jay dropped me there.
“When are you leaving?”
I asked him
“In some time... I'll stay here. You talk to him and if you need me.. I'm just a call away.. Don't worry.”
He said and I went in.
And there he was .. Waiting for me. For an instance I forgot why I was here. I kept on staring him but then I remembered why I've called him here.
“Babe?”
He said
He pulled me a chair and I took it.
Then he sat on the chair near me .
“Is everything fine? You said its very urgent. ”
He said holding my hands in his.
“Ruhaan.. There's a friend of mine... She told me something ”
He nodded asking me to continue.
“She said that she was pregnant..”
“Okay...”
He said
“The man who is the father of the baby has refused to accept him”
I said and he was shocked. His eyes widened and he was sweating..
“What happened,?”
I asked
“N-Nothing... Please continue ”
He said.
“She said that she was dating him and the baby is definitely his but he's not accepting it.. He's rather busy making another love story with his new girlfriend. ”
He was quiet. He didn't even looked in my eyes.
“You know the name of my friend I think..”
I said .. He looked at me..
“I'm talking about Shanaya.. ”
I said a Lil louder .. Trying to control my tears.
“Were you dating her?”
I asked
“No” he whispered.
“I know the truth already Ruhaan.. I want to hear it from you. Were you dating her?”
He didn't said anything for some time then suddenly said “Yes”
And that made me cry .. I was trying hard not to but ... Couldn't.
“Yes I dated her but that was before coming here.. Befire meeting you.. I swear I've never ever cheated you from the day I confessed my feelings for you.. Aanya I love you and that's not a lie.. She was my past. I didn't told you anything because I didn't wanted my past to affect my preset. You are my present..”
He said and I could see how serious he was.
“But your past did affected your present.. She has you baby.. You have to accept her. ”
I said wiping my tears.
“Oh come on Aanya don't tell me you believe her.”
“Ofcourse I do... She has shown me the reports.. And reports don't lie like people.”
I said
“Aanya I agree that I used to date her.. I also agree that it was for fun.. I had no feelings for her and it was wrong but I have never ever slept with her and we both know that. She tried to sleep with me.. She even spiked my drink once but I am sure I've never slept with her.. Aanya I won't use anyone. That's why I am not accepting this baby because I know it's not mine. Trust me babe.”
He said
“If I have to trust someone between an innocent pregnant lady who is not being accepted and a man who had her for fun... Of course i'll trust her.”
I said and left
He kept on shouting my name and asked me to stop but I ran out towards Jay.. He hugged me and carried me to the car.
Ruhaan's POV
“I knew it.. I knew this would come..”
I said punching the wall..
She had tears in her eyes but more than that.. It was the pain which was more visible .. She was hurt.. Because of me and I hate myself for this.. I went after her but she was there in Jay's arms.. I felt like punching his face but couldn't.. I have to do something .. I can't let her go.. I .. I love her.
I heard a notification sound . I looked at my mobile and there was a text.
“Are you the father?”
“What the hell.. Who are you?” I texted back
“Jay.. Listen professor I don't like you at all.. And I know you don't either.. But I also know that she loves you and I can't see her this hurt.. So say .. Is that baby yours?” - Jay
“No.. I haven't slept with her ever. I told Aanya that I am not the father but she trust her more than me” - Me
“Ofcourse she will.. She's an old friend of her and in these cases.. The women gets the sympathy” - Jay
“Why don't you trust her?” - Me
“As I already said I don't like you but there's something about that girl which is not right that's why I don't trust her. You'll have to do something before it's too late ” - Jay
“No. I won't let her go. I can't live without her. But what can I do?” - Me
“I wish I could help you but I have to leave.. I can't stay here any more. But I don't want to see Aanya in more pain.. She will be alone here now and I only trust you with her.” - Jay
“You don't worry about that. I will make sure she isn't hurt more.” - Me
“Then do one thing. Follow Shanaya.. Keep an eye on her. I'm sure she'll do something wrong. You just have to catch that. Rather than crying over the situation try to find ways to get her back. I have to go she's with me” - Jay
“Take care of her Jay.. I'll make sure I get my girl back.” - Me
