Darien's POV

" Darien!!!" I heard Brielle calling me.

What happened now?!! I walked downstairs and found my cousins, uncle and Aunt. Juliet ran to me and hugged me tightly. I sighed before hugging her back. She started to cry at once and I patted her head.

" What happened?! Why are you crying?! I am still alive little girl." I said and she punched on my back.

" Why didn't you inform us? You know how scared we were?" She asked me and I chuckled.

" Wanted to say alone for sometime." I said to her. She broke the hug and looked at me closely.

" How many nights haven't you slept properly?" She asked me. I sighed.

" I don't know. I didn't count." I said.

" Don't worry. Everything will be fine. Our grandpa was a great man. He couldn't do such a thing ever. Even if the world says so we won't believe, right?" She asked and I nodded. "Truth can't be hidden for long. You don't worry truth will come out one day." She said and I patted her head.

Juliet's mother my aunt Jenifer came and hugged me tightly. She broke into tears as well. I hugged her back. She must be very upset.

" Don't cry, Jenny. Everything will be fine." I said to her. She broke the hug and touched my cheek softly.

" Are you ok?" She asked me and I nodded.

" Come. Have a seat." I said to them and Brielle brought water for everyone. Her grandparents went to the hotel. They will be late.

" My mom used to tell Dad to be aware about people but dad was always like trusting people no matter what? He got this at last. See?" She cried again. I hold her at once. " My father wasn't like that, Darien. You do trust me, right? You know what a great person he was, don't you?! You have spent whole your life with him. Tell me, Darien. Don't you believe me?" My aunt asked me. I hugged her she cried again. She just can't take that her father is gone. I patted her back. She kept sobbing hugging me tightly.

" Mom!!" Juliet hugged her mom from back. I sighed deeply.

" Mrs. Kentworth, your father was not just a great person he was a great leader. He lead is party to the top but they betrayed them. It's not his fault. Nothing can deny that he was a great person. He can't be compared with anyone else." My wife said and I smiled. At least she believes that's enough for me. " Everything will be fine. Once again we will see people praising him not saying bad about him. I do believe that Darien will fulfill his dream one day. I do believe it from the depth of my heart." She said to my aunt who smiled a bit at her.

" Don't worry things will not be like this. The culprits will be punished one day near soon. We just have to be patient for awhile." She said. I smiled. My wife is so understanding.

We talked for awhile and then they went upstairs to have rest. We came back to our room as well where she announced that we are having a BBQ party in the evening and I have to go to the supermarket with her now. I sighed. When has she arranged it?!

" Josie is coming this afternoon. And I invited the kids nearby. You know the kids are being prisoners in the cage of technology. So, we attended a seminar a few months back. It taught us a lot of things. So, we should arrange the family dinners and gatherings more often so that the kids learns the values and morals along with the manners to communicate with people around. So, it's a great thinking I think. We have to support the kids." She said and I nodded.

" When I was young I used to play football and other outdoor games with my friends in the nearest park. But see today, kids doesn't want to go anywhere outside because they are too addicted to the technologies. Uses of technology should be limited for the kids. They are not using the technologies now a days technologies are using them. This thing must be stopped. Otherwise we would be destroying their beautiful childhood. We should be careful about that." She said and I smiled.

" I do support your thinking." I said to her and she nodded.

We went to the supermarket and we met a lot of so called friends of her. She didn't even realize whom she was calling her friends were checking her out openly. I just wrapped my arms around her waist protectively glaring at those bast*rds. She is my wife. My wife is mine not for the people to look at her like that.

We came back after finishing the groceries. When we reached home I found Cole there along with Taylor. I sighed. How have they find me out!! I told them not to contact me for awhile before I leave USA. That didn't mean that they will show up in a week.

" Come with me." I said to both of them.

They nodded before following me. We reached the garden and looked around if there were anyone listening to us but there were no one. I sighed.

" Why are you two here this early?" I asked them and they looked at each other confusedly. I sighed. " Alright, have you guys finished what I have told you to do?" I asked them.

" I talked to the members it was not the Vice President who talked to your grandpa in the party that night. He was out of the country that time." Taylor said.

" It was clearly James." Cole said.

" I don't think James will be that brave to kill someone. Was his mother with him that night?" I asked him.

" No, his father was with him." He said and I rolled my eyes. " I mean his step dad." He said.

" The President was asking about you." Taylor said.

" No worries. Tell him keep acting as I told him to do. We will find out the culprit soon." I said to him and he sighed.

" I don't know why do you hit upon such a plan in the first place." Taylor said.

" It's clear thst the person killed my grandpa doesn't want to be there in the USA. I can't risk Brielle's life. This why I told the President to announce that my citizenship was cancelled and I was kicked out of the country." I said and sighed. " But Mr. Vice President has crossed the limit. He has to face the consequences later. Very soon." I said smirking.

I don't you are smarter than my brain Mr. Killer. You will face the worst consequences when you are revealed. Just wait and watch.
