"U...um hi..." Hitoshi mumbled slowly as he walked into the room.
"Hello? You're not one of my students?"
The woman took off her reading glasses and then fixed her slightly crooked name plate on her desk. She touched softly at the papers she was grading and then made sure her whole desk was organized. Hitoshi watched and shrunk into himself a little. I feel like a homeless person...I look like absolute shit. The woman on the other had a very nice blouse and jacket over it which was buttoned, as well as a skirt to match. She kept her ankles crossed slightly and he noticed the nude heels she wore. Her purple hair up in a very tight and neat bun.
"N.no I'm not. Uh, you're Emiko Shinsou...right?" Hitoshi asked slowly.
"Yes I am, who's asking?" Emiko asked back and looked at him with and almost sweet expression.
"Uh my name is Hitoshi...I um...uh..." he started to mumbled off.
"Hitoshi, I have many papers to grade. And I'm not exactly a fan of mumbling." She replied.
"Oh uh, sorry. Uh...um...I'm...Well is weird. Probably super weird a.actually. Just some random hobo-looking kid coming into your fancy room and..."
"What are you getting at Hitoshi, if you aren't going to speak with me then I would like to get back to work."
"I'm your son!" He finally got out then covered his mouth a little, biting down his lip hard before he let out a dead breath and putting his hands back down on his side. "I'm your son..."
"What?" She looked at him, focusing more attention on him now.
"Yeah um, my name is Hitoshi Aizawa...my dad is...his name is Shouta and-"
"Did he tell you about me?" Her tone a bit more serious.
"No...he never did. I'm 16 and I never knew who you were. I was rummaging through his papers and I found my birth certificate...your name was there...so...I looked you up, I know it's stalkerish but I just really wanted to know you and...I'm sorry."
"I think you should leave hun."
Hitoshi blinked a few times and his eyes went a little wide. He was finally getting to meet his mother and this was it. Instead of just turning around and leaving he walked closer to her desk, rubbing his arms a bit nervously. He must've looked sad because she rubbed her temples and sighed a bit. He notice a few pictures frames, her with a man and a child. Then he glanced at her hand and noticed a beautiful ring. Oh she's married and has her own kids...maybe I shouldn't barge in and claim I'm her kid. He bites his lip a little as he thought.
"I'm sorry I just really wanted to know my mother..I've just...been so curious about you. What happened between you and my dad, why he hates you so much." Hitoshi said slowly.
"There's a reason that we don't talk anymore. And why I didn't want to see you, okay? Do you want me to be blatantly honest with you Hitoshi?" Emiko said back as she fixed her ring.
"Yes, please." He nodded quickly as he watched.
"Alright," She sighed softly and thinks for a bit. "Well you were an accident, okay? You're father and I weren't technically a thing, it just kinda happened. Kinda...a mistake?"
"M.mistake?" He blinked a few times quickly and tugged at the sleeves.
"Yes, you just kinda happened. I didn't believe in abortion, I wanted to get rid of your through adoption or foster, or something of the matter."
"Rid of me?"
"Mhm, but your father said other wise. He had a very hard time with his adopted family apparently and so he didn't want his son going though that. So I had you. Once I could leave the hospital I left you with your father along with a few items to help out maybe."
"My dad never really told me about my grandparents either."
"Apparently their were problems. Anyways, I was young and so was your dad. I just wasn't ready for a baby so I told him to keep me out of everything. Your life, pictures, even talking. I honestly, just moved on. I found an amazing husband and have a beautiful child. Then I have another on the way. I believe your father should move on and have you do that as well."
"O...oh..."
"I never wanted to see you because I knew it would cause an issue like this. Make you feel bad. But that's the truth, I was younger and so stupid and made a mistake."
"N.no...uh...it's okay. It's alright...uh thanks for talking to me...I'm sorry I wasted your time mom.." Hitoshi sniffled a little and pushed hand through his hair.
"Mrs. Shinsou, thank you. Have a good rest of your day. Maybe forget we had this conversation and you'll feel better." Emiko smiled in pity and then goes back to her paper work.
Hitoshi slowly got out of her room and closed the door. He hurried down the steps as he started to cry, rubbing at his cheeks and quickly pushing out of the school. He pulled up the hood of his jacket and cried more, rubbing his face. He walked over to the car, from a far he say Denki hanging out of the window holding two brown bags.
"I got SUPER hungry so I got us McDonald's dude! How did it go?!" Denki grinned then he noticed he friend was cried and he quickly put down the bags.
"I..It was fine...yeah..." Hitoshi mumbled and goes to the passenger side and gets in.
"Shit...what happened? I'll go in that fancy school and screw up their electric system if you want." He said back.
"No it's fine, it's my fault. I shouldn't have been so curious about it..." he rubbed his face and tried not to cry anymore.
"No, you had all rights to be curious. Here, huh me. You need a hug, you can cry around me too. You know I don't care. And eat some fries, they're fries always make me happy."
"Th.thank you so much Denki..." Hitoshi started to cry harder and leaned over the glove box, hugging his friend tightly.
