As I looked up from the spot on my couch the front door opened and then slammed shut. "Welcome home Rin." He looked at me for a moment. "Yeah, thanks." Then he went to his room and shut the door behind him.
"How long has he been like that?" Ana seemed concerned. "I don't remember but, I have to go, I'm on dinner duty tonight." I put the phone down and went to the stove. Me and Rin ate dinner then went to bed.
The next day Ana and I were walking to class. "Hey Kina do you think you can come over this weekend?" Ana started walking in front of me backwards. "No my brother might not let me go." I smiled apologetically. "No worries, you can come over some other time."
On our way home we talked a lot. On the long walk home we stopped by stored and bought some stuff. Then all of a sudden there was a flash of lightning coming towards us, then nothing.
