Trapped

Chapter 8

"You don't mean Sora, do you?" She stared at me while I was fidgeting. "Are you shy? Do you like him?" Why the hell does she look like a lost puppy?

"Of course not I don't even know him." My ears perked straight up. Ana started laughing and pointed at my ears. "Shut up." My cheeks grew red and I turned away from her while holding my ears down.

She patted my head and started walking again. I followed her even though I knew we were going to see him. We walked in the forest until we reached his house.

Ana knocked on the door and waited. "Can I help you?" He asked lazily as he opened the door. He stared at us for a while. "Who are you?"

Ana nearly fell to the ground as he said that. "How do you not remember us? We were the ones who accidentally got caught in your trap."

He stared at us for a while again. "Oh yeah, the idiot, weirdo girls without ears! What do you want?" Ana grabbed my wrist and yanked it down. I fell slightly as she pointed to my ears.

His eyes went wide. "How does she have ears?" He looked really confused. "That's what I want to ask you." I mumbled loud enough for him to hear me.

He shook his head in fear. I glared at him and he was even more scared now. "Well then, why would I have a dream about my childhood with you in it?" I hissed at him. He stared at me wide-eyed.

"Wh...what? You had a dream with me in it?" He was super confused now. "That's what I just said." I faced palmed myself due to his stupidity.

He was fidgeting badly now. "What h...happened I..in th...the dream?" He stuttered. I looked at him curiously and noticed he was blushing a dark crimson. What is he thinking about?

I just stared at him and he seemed to notice cause he turned away from me. Really, what is he thinking? "Well, we were both small, I had ears and a tail, and well um... We talked for a bit, then it ended and I woke up with ears and a tail."

He started thinking seriously about it. A little while later he came to the conclusion of nothing. "I don't know, but its strange. This is the first time we met yet you have a dream about us when were little." He looked at me curiously.

I looked down and didn't talk. "Well let's not worry, we need to get you back to your own world." We nodded and went inside to wait for him to get ready.

We waited a while and he finally came back out of his room. "Don't you have parents?" He looked at me and nodded. "Yeah, I live alone though. This is my house. They live somewhere else." He shrugged his shoulders.

I stared at him and looked away. "What about you?" He glanced at me while he was packing supplies. "I have an older brother but, no parents. They died last year from old age." He looked at me shocked.

"Aren't you lonely?" I nodded slightly but also shook my head. "I have my brother but, he doesn't talk to me." Ana looked at me sadly. "Okay enough of the sad stuff. We need to get going."

Ana looked at both of us seriously and we nodded. "Okay we need one more person." We gave his a confused look. "Its going to be dangerous." We both nodded and followed him.
