Trapped

Chapter 10

The effects of what happened swirled in my mind. My face was constantly getting red and each time it did the would feel my forehead just in case of a fever.

"You can stop checking already, in fine." Ana sighed then smirked at me. "Then why does your faces keep getting red?"

"No r...reason." I turned away so she wouldn't see my red face. We continued walking for hours and we eventually reached another village.

There were tons of buildings and lots of people walking in and out of stores. Each vibrant color splashed the town magnificently. It was very pretty how each color fit perfectly on each building.

I stared in awe at the beautiful town stretched before my eyes. Sora poked my arm and motioned for me to follow.

We walked through the bright town taking in everything around us. "Its so pretty." Ana nodded, walking right next to me. Sora and Yui laughed as we just stared.

"That's not even the half of it." I looked at Yui as she giggled. "There's more?" She nodded and happily walked over to Sora. I just stared at her and sighed.

We walked for a while and stopped to rest. We ate lunch, and might I add, a very delicious lunch at that. It tasted like really good candy. After eating lunch we found an inn and decided to sleep there. We had been walking forever and were super tired.

A few minutes later I felt arms wrap around me. "Sora, what are you doing?" My face became red once again. "Sleeping, for some reason you give me good dreams."

Our faces were a deep crimson red as we didn't look at each other. This is awkward. Does he possibly like me? How am I supposed to react? Uwaaa my heart is beating super fast! "Kina, why is your heart beating fast?" He noticed! "N...no reason."

I could feel his stared burning my back. "If you say so." He snuggled his head in my back once again. I sighed and fell asleep with Sora snuggling against my back.

I woke and Sora's head was resting on my chest. My face was a dark crimson again. He's too close! I lifted his head gently and put it on the bed. I got out of bed and took a shower.

When I got out of the shower I was still surprised to see everyone sleeping. They must have been really tired. I got in the bed Sora was supposed to sleep in. I layed there thinking about everything that has happened so far.

Why do I always blush when I see Sora. How annoying I can't even think straight! I sighed and sat up. I looked at everyone sleeping and quietly walked out of the room.

I went outside and looked around. Many people were roaming the streets either talking or just staying silent. I decided to take a look around and learn more.

As I was walking I was looking down all the alleyways. In one of the alleys I heard a thud.

I got curious and decided to go and see what it was. As I got closer I heard laughing. Cruel, evil laughter. I could see perfectly fin in the darkness.

I saw a small boy on the ground groaning while clutching his stomach. There were taller boys laughing at him. "Haha freak."

I stared at them in complete utter disbelief. Then one of them punched him in the face. I was shocked and unconsciously pushed the guy out of the way.

He hit the ground but all I was worried about was the boy. Up close he looked about my age. "Are you okay?" He looked up at me surprised.

"Your a girl." I was confused. "They don't care if your a girl. They'll still hurt you." I finally understood what he meant. The taller boys were glaring at me. I glared back at them evilly. They seemed to be scared because they walked off muttering stuff under their breath.

"Are you stupid?" I looked at him confused as he stood up. "You could have been hurt." I stared at him.

"I know but, I couldn't just sit and watch." His eyes widened. "Why? Nobody helps a freak like me, so why did you?" I stared at him shocked. "Your not a freak, your a nice person."

I held out my hand to him and he shyly took it. I pulled him out of the dark ally and into light. "D...do you want something to eat?" I looked at him and noticed his dark blush. "Sure, I guess." He smiled at me sweetly and led the way.

(Sora's POV)

I woke up and yawned. I looked around the room but Kina wasn't there. "Where did she go?" I saw the note on the desk and read it.

"To everyone,
I'm going out to look around for a bit. I will be back later. Oh and if you want something to eat there is food in the fridge.
From, Kina."

I mentally slapped myself. "That stupid idiot." I ran out of the room to go look for Kina. What is she thinking?
