Trapped

Chapter 4

(Rin's POV)

I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling. "Kina is...late." I went to her room only to find it empty with clothes on the floor.

I decided to go out and look for her. I searched ally's, stores, I even went to her school but didn't see her. Damn it! Where the heck is she? All on a sudden I heard a familiar voice call out to me.

"Riiiiin! Over here." I turned my head only to see my best friend, Sakura, running towards me. She came up to me and greeted me.

"Look sorry Sakura but, I'm kind of busy right now at the moment so, yeah." I turned around and scanned the place in front of me.

"Looking for Kina." She smiled faintly. "H...how did you know?" I was surprised she even knew that. "Listen Rin. I saw her." Sakura's smile faded and she was frowning. "What happened?" My heart started beating faster and faster by the minute.

"Kina and Ana were walking home together when a flash of lightning struck them, after that they were gone. This was the only thing left behind." She held my my sister and her best friends bag.

She gave it to me as my eyes filled with tears and rolled down my cheeks. My heart hurt so bad I thought I was going to die. Sakura looked pained but even so she still tried to cheer me up.

"Once I found out the truth... I stopped talking to her. There are soo many things I want to say to her b...but now I can't. I won't ever see her again." I managed to choke that out but it came out with crying and me falling to my knees.

Sakura looked up at the sky, her eyes narrowed and she looked a little mad. She looked back at me and smiled even though her eyes gave away everything. She was upset and looked like she might hit someone.

"Don't worry you'll see Kina again." She patted my back. I studied her face expressions and realized she knew something.
