Chapter 21:No way(Alex)

i walk through my front door touching my lips hoping the kiss we had lingers there a bit longer 

"what the hell is on your neck!" my mom yells as soon as she looks at me from the couch 

i look in the mirror 

oh my god im covered in hickies 

fuck 

"its just hic.."

"Hank! Come look at your son"

dad comes out from the bathroom groaning 

he looks at me 

"what the hell are those"

"they are just hickies guys chill out" i walk to my room and shut the door

"you two just met alec and shes already marking you up and..."

she rambles on 

i put my earbuds in and put my music on shuffle

This is home by cavetown plays 

i lay there and think over everything 

I have a girlfriend 

wow 

this time i wont mess things up 

i shoot her a text 

'thanks for this weekend. You helped me in more ways than you know. ill see you tomorrow goodnight'

i roll over and start to fall asleep 

my phone buzzes 

' of course hun <3 ill be there to pick you up tomorrow goodnight'

i smile and pass out

My phone wakes me 

its a call from my doctor 

i know its just him reminding me about my shot 

i let it go to voice mail then i listen to it

yep he wanted to make sure i didnt forget it since i have a lot on my mind with the move 

dang i forgot today was t day anyhow ill call later and let him know i got it from here 

i look at the clock 

6:28

i guess i should get ready 

i roll out of bed and jump in the shower 

after i get out i get dressed 

plain black tee and my gray joggers 

my binder feels extra tight today but what can i do ya know 

i brush my hair and teeth and finish getting ready 

"you dont have to be ready yet" my mom says waling past the bathroom 

"uh yeah actually hallie is gonna pick me up and take me to school today"

she comes to the door way and looks at me "look i know your 18 but you still need to let me know what the hell youre doing you live under my roof"

i nod and walk out to sit on the porch 

i grab my back pack and sit outside

its not long before shes there

i jump in and she looks gorgeous as always 

"good morning pretty lady" i say more confident than usual 

"good morning handsome " she blushes "did you get my text"

i look at my phone and see a message from her

'morning cutie ill be on my way soon i was thinking starbucks this morning?'

"my bad i didnt see it but that sounds great only one problem"

she looks at me confused 

"im broke" i chuckle embarrassed

she laughs and kisses my cheek "dont worry about it i got it "

we drive off and get our coffee the head to school 

when we walk in she grabs my hand and are fingers interlock 

i cant help the huge smile on my face  

we walk to her locker and her friend page bursts out 

"no way!"
