i got her dry and comfy and we laid in bed in silence

my toes curl and my heart flutters
after a while her parents come home and we all eat dinner
it was an amazing night
after dinner i walked home and went straight into my bed

i smile and then remember
shit we go back today
i text back and get dressed
she pulls in and we head to school
when we get there we sit in the car for a bit
she notices how nervous i am and she grabs my hand

the day actually went really well turns out chad got expelled and nobody knows about me still

hallie tells everyone about how i asked her to prom and what she is gonna wear
i drift away from the conversation
"so alex tell us more about yourself" a girl at the table blurts out grabbing my attention

hallie puts her hand on my thigh and looks at me as to say im safe
i still stumble over my words but i basically explain my interest in space and where i am from

i blush and chuckle "no just people being dicks"
the bell for the end of lunch rings
we walk down the hall and the girl and i head to the same class
she sits beside me which she never does its really odd
every now and again i notice her staring at me
at the end of class she stops me
"hey so i wanna know more about you here" she hands me a piece of paper
i put it in my bag and go about my day completely forgetting about it
hallie drives me home and i ask her to stay to help with my homework
i really need help but also i really want to make out too ha
i empty out my backpack and the note falls on the floor hallie picks it up and opens it
