Set between the first three episodes of the first season
Izzy was walking with Simon outside of the institute when they saw a brown box next to the entrance of the institute.
Izzy walked forward to grab the box when Simon stopped her by grabbing her wrist.
"Wait... You shouldn't touch it... What if it's some Circle weapon or something?" Simon stuttered out.
" Simon it's just a box, it's not like there's a killer duck inside of it. " Izzy went forward to grab it.
"Killer duck?" Simon whispered to himself.
Izzy walked over to Simon, "come on sweetie we need to go inside. Izzy and Jace will probably want to see whats in it."
Izzy walked forward and grabs one of Simon's hands and walks inside of the institute.
They walk in to find Alec yelling at Clary and Jace yelling at Alec. I
"Children!" Izzy walks towards them.
" what izzy! " Alec yells at her, pissed off. His face red and fists scrunched together.
"We found this box next to the entrance of the institute, I brought it in here so you children can open it and stop bickering about nonsense!" Izzy put the box in the middle of the table.
The five of them stair at the box.
"So... Are you going to open it?" Simon asks, everyone stairs at him annoyed. Simon looks away staring at something else.
" Fine, I'll open the damn thing, " Jace sighs and opens the box. His face scrunched up in confusion.
"What is it?" Clary asks walking toward Jace.
" it's a CD. It says '44 reasons to ship Malec' what s Malec? " Jace questions looking up at everyone.
"Is there anything else besides the CD?" Alec spoke up arms crossed.
"Yah, a note." Jace pulled out a folded piece of paper.
Izzy walked over and snatched the paper out of his hands.
She smirks, "it says, 'to the inhabitants of the New York Institute. And the High Warlock of Brooklyn Magnus Bane. This film has been gathered from time above now. Use this information wisely. May Malec be in our hearts.' Signed RB."
" RB? "
"Time above now?"
" Magnus Bane?"
Questions were rolling around the five of them. None of them understanding anything that's happening.
"Well shouldn't we watch it?" Simon shrugged asking loudly.
" Sure, but how do you work a CD? " Jace looked at it curiously.
Izzy walked over and snatched the CD from Jace and walked over to Simon. Handing it to him.
"So... How do you work this sweetie?" Izzy asked trailing her fingers up his arms.
" W-well i-i could s-show y-you? " Simon was a stuttering shaking mess.
"Izzy, stop fooling around and let him work the damn thing. We don't have all night!" Alec glared at his sister and she glare back.
"Fine grumpy cat," Izzy smirked . "So can you work it Simon sweetie." Izzy winked at Simon, and he was a blushing mess.
"Y-yeah I c-can," Simon walked over to one of the many computers in the room and put the disk in it.
And he turns it on, it's played on a large screen in the middle of the institute.
*after the video ends*
Everyone in the institute stopped to watch the screen all of them had their mouths open in confusion. And the five of them were in shock, nobody knowing what to say.
"Um... What the hell was that?" Clary asked very loudly.
"Hey! Did I say you all could stop doing your jobs?! Back to work! Shadowhunters!" Maryse was walking down the steps towards the five of them.
Everyone in the room for back to work, not wanting to be yelled at again by Maryse.
"What is going on over here?" Maryse put her hands on her hips.
Nobody spoke. No one new what to say, until Jace started talking.
"Um...we found this box at the entrance of the institute..." She looked to Alec and Jace to help her. But Alec was still staring at the screen, disbelief on his face.
"And...um...there was a video in it from....the...the future..." Jace tries to explain it without sounding crazy.
" the future, " Maryse looks at everyone confused.
"We can show you the video ma'am." Clary shrugs her shoulders.
" well then go ahead, I don't have all day children. "
Maryse walks over to the screen, and Simon plays the video again.
*end of video again*
Maryse's face held confusion and disbelief.
"Alexander my office! Now!" Maryse walks away.
Alec takes on last look at everyone before following Maryse.
"Honeslty i ship it," Izzy said out loud.
Everyone starts laughing and agreeing.
