Magnus was walking through the institute on his way to see Alec. He was called in by Maryse and Robert to fix the wards.
Magnus was walking towards Alec's room so they could go to his loft when he bumps into a shadowhunter.
"Oh my I'm so sorry-" Magnus helps the shadowhunter off of the floor.
"Watch where going warlock," the unnamed shadowhunter glared at Magnus. 
"I said I'm sorry," Magnus tried to walk down the hallway when the unnamed Shadowhunter grabbed him by the wrist.
" And were do you think your going? " Magnus tries break out of his grasp. That's when Magnus realises that his magic isn't working anymore.
"What are doing?" Magnus worriedly stairs at the shadowhunter.
Magnus then realises that there was something on his wrist, he looks down and sees some kind of braclet with red gems around it.
"This" the shadowhunter points down to the device on his wrist. "Is a device that can temporarily stop one's magic from working."
Magnus tries to back away but is stopped when he backs into a wall.
"I was going to save it for someone else... But you seem like you would be more fun to... Play with."
The shadowhunter walked up to Magnus and pinned him against the wall.
"Oh and my name is Jake by the way," the now named shadowhunter starts to forcefully kiss Magnus.
Magnus tries to move but fails, which results in Jake tightening his grasp on Magnus' wrist. Which results in a quiet wince from the now powerless warlock.
Just when Jake starts to kiss down Magnus' neck, someone comes walking from around the corner.
"Hey!" Alec emerges from the corner and runs up to Jake, pushing him off of Magnus.
"Get off him!" Alec pushes Jake against the wall and Magnus slides down to the floor in pain.
Just then Izzy and Jace come running towards them. They grab onto Jake separating Alec from him.
"Take him away now!" Izzy and Jace glare at the shadowhunter and take him somewhere. Probably the dungeons.
Alec walks over to Magnus bending down to match the man's height.
"Hey, you ok? Did he hurt you?" Alec gets no response. Magnus just points to the device on his wrist.
Alec looks at the said device and tried to take it off Magnus, it came off with eminence force.
Magnus winces looking at the raw skin burning him. Magnus grabs his wrist in pain.
"Hey let's get you to the infirmary," Alec helps Magnus up. And they walk to the infirmary.

"Well the burn marks on his skin should go away soon, but mentally im not entirely sure," the nurse was talking to Alec while Magnus was on the infirmary bed, rubbing his wrist.
"Wait, what do you mean mentally?" Alec was worrying now.
" well he's lucky that it didn't get to far, but this will still impact him. " the nursery her hand on his shoulder and walked away to see another patient.
Alec walked over to Magnus and grabbed his hand.
"Come on Mags let's go home," Magnus stands up and intertwines their hands.
Alec and Magnus walk home, Magnus clinging to Alec the whole way there.
They arrive at the loft and Alec walks them over to the couch. Alec sits down and Magnus cuddles up in his lap, and buries his head in Alec's chest.
"Mags?" Alec runs his hand threw Magnus' hair.
" Yeah? " Magnus whispered.
"He won't ever touch you again," Alec moves Magnus' face so he can see his eyes. " I promise. "
Alec kisses Magnus, "I love you Magnus."
"I love you to, Alexander."
They both fell asleep, cuddling on the couch all night.
