Alec pov

"Alec! Alec! Alec!"
I turn around to see Izzy running towards me. In her 8 inch heel. Seriously how does she run in those.
"What Izzy?" I groaned as she stoped like one inch from my face.
"Ok so me and Simon were going over to his apartment." I made a distrusted face. " No no no we were not going to do that, we were going to bring watch movies. And on our way there we heard crying and me being me I went to check it out. And I found a baby. " Izzy rambled on.
"Wait, you guys found a baby while on the way to Simon's apartment to 'Bing movies'?"
" Yes, Simon brought it to his place and I came here to tell you, because I had an idea. "
"An idea that has to do with me, ok I'm terrified now."
"Well I thought that since you and Magnus were taking about adopted a kid, that you two could take in this little cute baby."
I had a shocked expression on my face. Not really mowing what to say at the moment.
"Here, let's just go get Magnus and you guys could go see him. Trust me he's adorable."
" I- uh- ya l-lets go get Magnus. " I stuttered
"Yay! Let's go!"

*time skip - Magnus' loft*

Magnus pov

Knock knock knock

I flicked my hand in the air and the door opened. God I love magic. "Magnus Magnus!" Izzy's voice echoed through the loft.
I put my drink down on the table next to the chair I was sitting in. "Yes, Izzy?" I asked while walking into the hallway where they were.
"Do you want to adopt a kid?!" Izzy screamed, jumping up and down excitedly .
"I- What?" I stuttered while walking over to Alexander.
"Calm down Izzy, just explain it to him." Alexander stated, suddenly kissing me.
" Ok ok enough kissy time. " Alexander and I broke of the kiss, both of us facing Izzy. "Ok to sum it up me and Simon found a baby in an alleyway and I thought that you and Magnus could maybe adopt him?" Izzy finished all in one breath.
I look at Alexander and he looks at me with an unreadable expression.
"Umm... Could we see him Isabel?" I asked her. Not knowing anything to say.
"Yes, of course. Could you portal is to Simon's place please." Izzy asked without telling this time.
" Yes, sure. " I flicked my hand in the air and a portal appeared out of nowhere. Everyone stepped in.

Simon's place

Once we got to Simon's apartment, we found him trying to settle down a little blue baby.
"Hey guys could you guys please help me calm down this baby. I've literally tried everything." Simon pleaded looking at us.
Izzy ran up to Simon taking the baby out of his arms. She carefully walked over to me and Magnus, and handed the blue crying baby to Magnus. As soon as Izzy handed the baby to him, he immediately stopped crying.
"How did you do that? He's been crying forever." Simon looked at Magnus curiously.
"I have no idea." Magnus said while holding a sleeping blue boy.
" He's beautiful. " I whispered while slinging my arm over Maggie's shoulder.
"Ya he is."
" So does that mean you'll keep him? " Izzy whispered trying not to explode out of excitement.
I looked up over at Magnus and he looked at me. We both silently agreed that we should keep him.
"Ya we'll keep him." I said breaking the source in the room.
Out of nowhere Izzy started silently jumping trying not to scream.
"By the angel, I'm going to be an aunt." She loudly whispered, causing the little baby to move but not wake up.
" So what are you going to name the little boy? " Simon asked clearly exited, not as exited as Izzy though.
"Maxwell Lightwood-Bane." Suggested Magnus out of nowhere.
Me and Izzy's eyes started to tear up in mention of their dead little brother. But not out of sadness. Out of happiness.
"I love it." I said finally breaking the silence.

And that is where their little family started.
