For the past month Keegan and I worked and travelled cautiously.
He would make sure that everywhere we went there was a bodyguard walking side to side with us.
I didn't like the bodyguard issue but I understood why he brought it on and therefore appreciate his concern and care for us.

Not only had we been cautious but we'd also been trying to figure out what was between us.
After the night of the kiss, we'd been doing a lot kissing quite frequently and not to mention, doing things that couples do.
We haven't put a label on my this is yet but it feels like we already have, it's just unsaid.

"Are you ready?" I asked as we both stared at the envelope in my hands.

I hand the envelope to him but he shakes his head. "No, you read it out loud. I'm too nervous to do it myself." He said and I nod.

I start to slowly tear the envelope open. Once open, I drag the folded paper out.

I take in a deep breath and look at Keegan once more for reassurance. He nods and I unfold the papers.

I start reading the letter, scanning for certain key words.

"You are 0.00% related to him. You are not his father." I read out loud, the words stinging both me and him in shock.

In the last month, I got the fortunate chance to meet Henry, Keegan's son. The moment I laid my eyes on Henry, I immediately noticed that Henry looks nothing like Keegan.
Their features simply did not compact.

At first Keegan thought that I was being a little absurd but he then came to terms to take a DNA test without Margaret's knowledge.
Today the tests came back and they weren't what we were expecting.
I honestly hoped to be wrong although Margaret isn't the ideal person I'd like to deal with on a regularity.

I looked up and met with Keegan's eyes. He looked so torn and broken inside that it broke me too.

I opened my mouth to say something but no word would come out.
He took a seat on the couch, frustration running through his core.
He stood up and shouted out a mountain of curses at the top of his lungs.

Pacing around, he started breaking things, leaving me still stunned by the news and even more dumbfounded by his reactions.
I knew he'd be upset but I didn't figure that he'd be livid to the point that he starts shouting and breaking things.

As I watch him pace around the house while punching holes in the walls and throwing glasses and mirrors, I slowly move my towards him as he stops for a moment.

I gently put my hand on his shoulder, causing him to turn around, calmly, whiling calming down to my touch. I smile a little, realizing that I have some calming effect on him.

"It's okay. It's going to be okay." I say as I pull him into a tight hug. He eases into my hug quickly and wraps his arms around me.

"Why is she so evil?" His voice weak and defeated, breaking my heart.

"I don't. It's just how some people are. Sadly this world consists of people as evil as her and worse." I say softly.

"Eventually the evil people will have to pay for their sins."

Keegan's P.O.V.

After going full on maniacally angry, I calm down to Letta's soft, gentle hand on my shoulder.

She helps me come down to my senses as she hugs me tightly, whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

I honestly am grateful for Letta. If it wasn't for her, I would've continued living a miserable life with Margaret using a child that isn't even mine against me.

I honestly could not be any more upset about this matter. Margaret seems to have had a different view on our love. For all I know she could've faked her love towards me to get to my family's wealth.

Everytime I think about her, I feel like breaking something.

At this moment, I'm currently in the home gym, working out my anger.

As I burn hard calories by the trendmill, my phone starts to ring. I furrow my eyebrows in curiosity.

I switch the machine off and walk over to answer my phone.

"Richardson speaking." I say immediately when I answer.

"Meet me at my the warehouse at 5 pm." Jake's voice sounds from the other line.

"Fine." I clench my jaw in anger. I can't stand this man. What he and the other men do to woman and little girls disgusts me.

"And...bring her too." He says before he hangs up, not giving me the time to argue against it.

Anger start to coarse through my veins as I shout out a heap of curses in frustration.
Letta comes running in the room with a worried expression on her face.

"What?! What's wrong." Her beautiful features in a worried face.

"It's Jake." I breath out. "He wants to me but he also wants you there." I bow my head in aggravation.

"What?! Why?!" She furrows her eyebrows in both confusion and slight anger.

"I don't know. I honestly don't want to take you there but I don't exactly have a choice." I admit sadly.

"Fine." She says and I look up at her in surprise. "But you're carrying a gun." She says and leaves without another word.

I start to prepare myself for my meeting with Jake.

Once both Letta and I are ready we head on down to Jake's warehouse.
When we arrive we waste no time in entering the place to this over and done with.

We walk upstairs to Jake's office and enter when he tells us to enter.

"Ah you made it." He says with a smug when we enter.
"Take a seat, the others should be here soon." He gestures to the seats and sit down.

Seconds later, the door opens and closes when two people walk in.

"Annalise?" I say in confusion when she sits beside me.

"Margaret?" Letta and I simultaneously say in a distasteful tone.
