16.| Assets.

"You know that I love you right?" Keegan questioned as he made his way towards me by the dinning table as I eat breakfast.

"Well yes." I try to suppress a smile but fail pathetically. "Why do you ask?" I take a bite of my pancake.

"Well I don't know how to put this..." He scratches the back of his head and I chuckle at how nervous he is.

"Just spit it out."

"Will you marry me? Today? Here in the Bahamas?" He says and my eyes widen.

"I thought you were joking about the marriage thing."

"Well I wasn't. You just... you make me feel some type of way that I can't begin to explain it. I just..." He sighs. "I love you, so much and want to love even more with the ability to call you my wife."

I blink once, twice, thrice amd open my mouth to utter something but I render speechless.

"So, Lethabile Tau, will you marry me?" He kneels down one knee holding my hands.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I hug him around his neck.

He hugs me back and stands up as we pull apart.
"Well then go down to the spa and get yourself all ready for this afternoon." He says and I smile and hurriedly get ready and head out.

Oh my god. I'm going to get married!

Keegan's P.O.V.

Once she's all gone I quickly head to my phone and make a call.

The phone rings once, twice, and he finally answers.

"Rigs." I greet joyfully.

"Has she agreed?" He asks getting straight to the point.

"Yes and we can now certify the papers because I need everything to go fast and smoothly today."

"Sure thing. I'll bring down the certified papers this afternoon when it's time. Just to clarify, do you think that she'll agree to sign the papers?" He questions curiously which irritates me slightly.

"Don't worry yourself with that. That's for me to deal with."

"Sure thing boss."

I hang up and get ready for this afternoon with Letta.
Honestly I'm really nervous because actually really do love her but I really need her to sign those papers.

Hopefully everything goes accordingly and Letta can have a great life when I'm gone to jail.
I just really hope that nothing slips.

Letta's P.O.V.

"You look beautiful." Kelly says from behind me as I stare at my reflection in the mirror.

"Thank you." I beam unable to stop staring at my unrecognisable reflection.
The makeup, the hair, the dress. Everything has just transformed me to make me look like a fantasy.

"This feels so surreal." I admit to Kelly and she laughs a little.

"That's because you look so stunning that it's almost surreal." She says.
"Ok now, it's time to get down that aisle, so let's go and give your husband-to-be a heart attack." She says leading me out of the room and I giggle.

Kelly hands me a bouquet of lilies and leads me down to a church nearby.

I walk in and find Keegan at the end of the aisle talking softly to the priest.

"She has arrived." Kelly makes our presence clear.

Keegan turns to face me as I walk down the aisle.
His expression is priceless. He looks so flustered by my appearance.

I finally reach the end of the aisle and hold hands with him and the priest begins the ceremony.

We pray and the priest shares a few words about the holy bible and marriage until it's time to exchange vows.

"Repeat after me. I Keegan James Richardson, take you Lethabile Lesedi Tau as my lawful wedded wife. In sickness and in health, for richer or poorer till death do us apart." The priest says and Keegan does so.

I smile beaming as I watch him vow to me.

"Now Lethabile, repeat after me. I Lethabile Lesedi Tau, take you Keegan James Richardson as my lawful wedded husband. In sickness and in health. For richer or poorer, till death do us apart." The priest says and I repeat his words with a permanent smile that reaches my eyes.

"You may now kiss the bride." The priest says to Keegan.

Keegan wastes no time in kissing me.
He softly crashes our lips together as crazy butterflies explode in my stomach.

"I now pronounce Mr.  and Mrs. Richardson." The priest declares.

We break the kiss and I make walks into the church with a huge envelop in hand.

"Mr. Richardson." He says and Keegan leads me amd the man to a room and we sit down at a table.

"Your wedding certificates and the papers." He talks to Keegan and I furrow my eyebrows.

Keegan hands me my certificate and we sign smiling and places papers in from of me.

"I want to sign all my assets to you." He says and I stare at him with a confused expression.

"Why?"

"Because I'll be leaving for jail soon and I want to leave you with everything I have." He says and I almost find it super cute and nod my head.

I sign the papers where they tell me to sign.
Once I'm done signing I face Keegan with a small smile.

"We're married!" I say smiling and he kisses my cheek.

"We're married."
