"Lethabile?"
He was the first person I saw when they took the bag off my head. He sounded shocked and his facial expressions screamed of fear.
He was worried about me, undoubtedly.
"Now...this is your gift." Jake said. "Pablo." He snaps his fingers again and one of the big men came towards me.
Cold, sharp metal pressed against my chocolate skin, too hard that I could feel the little liquid escape from the slight cut.
I was scared. More fear built up in me as the knife only put more pressure against my neck. My heart rate quickened rapidly as the fear of dying settled in me.
"What do you want with her?!" Keegan was fuming. "You wanted me but yet you have her bleeding!" He yelled but Jake only remained calm
"Yes I did want you but I also wanted her..." He turned to look at me with a smirk. "Dead." He finished his sentence and my eyes widened.
He noticed my increased fear and chuckled.
Crap, crap, crap! He wants to fucking kill me! Kill me!
Jake turned towards a raging Keegan who stared at him with pure hatred amd disgust.
Jake chuckled. "Oh come on pal. Lighten up. She's not even important, just a useless african girl." He chuckles and I notice Keegan's hands ball into fists.
"But..." Jake says and looks at me. "If you hand me all the drug clients and connections, I'll let her live." He turned back to Keegan.
"Don't it–" I try to voice out my the knife on presses harder against my neck, making me hiss in pain.
"Fine." Keegan simply says.
"Keeg–" The knife presses even harder and crimson liquid descend from the current wound and stains my shirt.
"Keegan?" Jake faces Keegan again.
"I said fine." He says coldly.
Jake nods and turn to Margaret, finally acknowledging her.
"Do it." He nods in my direction while looking at her and i furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
"What?" She asks confused.
"Kill her." He says nonchalantly.
"You said you wouldn't–" Keegan cuts in but is quickly cut off.
"Yeah, I've changed my mind." He turns to Margaret again. "Do. It."
Margaret nods and heads towards me, taking the knife from Pablo and pressing it lightly against my neck.
"Now." Jake demands.
I squeeze my eyes shut and feel no blood or agonizing pain on my neck.
"Run!" Margaret's voice echoes and I open my eyes and notice Pablo or the ground bleeding.
Then the door bust open and more guards enter but are quickly shot down by the FBI.
