Inhale...exhale.
Inhale...exhale.
Inhale...exhale."You ready?" I face Margaret and nod.
She takes my hand in hers and gives my hand a little squeeze.
We walk into the courtroom and sit in the front row where everything is clear."Silence as the case shall begin." The judge enters and takes her seat.

The case was represented the way Keegan had planned it to.
Jake was dead and no one told the FBI about Keegan's big influence in the empire.Watching him in front of me wasn't easy. I was still upset that he lied to me and put me in all sorts of danger but then again I don't want him taken away. Not that I plan on things getting back to the way they were before I found out about everything.
At the end of the day the case was postponed for two days for the jury to decide and the judge to make a decision.
We all stand up and Keegan and I share eye contact for a brief moment before I turn away and walk out of the room behind Margaret.
She's been very supportive lately and to think that I once hated her is a little humourous. As we drive back to my apartment the ride is silent as I consume myself in thoughts that run non-stop in my mind.
All I can think about is the huge possibility of Keegan getting a large sentence.
We might not be on speaking terms but I would to have to see him get locked up for a very long time.I miss him. I sigh in exasperation, disliking my thought not only because I should hate him right now but because I really do miss him.
Yes he lied and put my life at risk but I can't deny tge fact that what we had was real and I wasn't the only one in love in our relationship.

"You ready?" Margaret asks as we stand in front the double doors of tge courtroom.
I look at her and notice that she has a sympathetic look on her face.
Gosh I hate that facial expression. I hate it mlre than anything. You can just see the pain they feel for you. They think that your always miserable and suffering which isn't enterly a lie.I let a long-held breath and nod before walking into the room and seating myself in the front row with Margaret.
"Silence as the conviction will begin." The judge walks in.
"Has the jury decided?" The jury pays all attention to the jury.
As the young lady stands up with a nod, an uneasy feeling settles in my stomach and I just pray that I don't rush out of the room holding back vomit.
"We have your honour." She exhales sharply. "We find the defendant..."
I inhale sharply holding my breath.
"Guilty."
I stand up running out of the room.
Guilty...
Guilty...
Guilty...I run down the hallway into the bathroom and let all my insides out as they come rushing out.
I gag as my non-existent breakfast flushes out of me.What did I eat?
I get up and flush the toilet.I rinse my mouth and wash my hand in the process and head back to the room.
"My apologies your honour, just feeling a little sick this morning." I take my seat back in the front row.
She nods her head and faces Keegan.
"Finding defendant guilty..." She begins. "He will be sentenced to 5 to 10 years in prison." My insides force up my throat once more but I suppress the vomit."Chance of parole will only be granted after at least 2 years depending on the behavior of the defendant." She finalises.
She bangs her thingy. "Case dismissed!" She shouts and people start to disperse.
Keegan in hand cuffed and a teardrop escapes my eye.
I dig inside my bag and pull put my positive pregnancy test."Keegan!" I walk towards him. "Just a short moment please." I say to the police and they nod their heads hesitantly.
"I'm so sorry." He begins but I silence him with a passionate kiss.
"I'm pregnant." I whisper as I lean my forehead against his.
I open my eyes and notice a teardrop descend from his eye.
"I will be back, soon. I'll be back and I'll make up for things." He says and they start to pull him away."I'll be back to make up for this."
