[Tanjiro x reader]

You promised yourself you'll never love again after being cheated on by the village chief's son! You were framed and your parents were executed. Not to mention.. you were only 13 back then. It was a forced marriage but soon your love grew.

Love is such a curse isn't it? You fall in love and this is where you end up. It's for the better though. It's been 2 years since You escaped from that cruel village and you became a demon slayer.

Shinobu , the insect pillar , found you when you were escaping. She decided to take you into custody and trained you. You mastered your own breath, [ breath name], within a year and learnt about poison.

You were in the butterfly estate as shinobu was out on a mission. You then learned that 3 boys are currently in the infirmary.

Aoi entered the room with a very stressed out face.

"What's wrong aoi ? " You asked in a soft voice.

"The boys in the room are so annoying especially the yellow haired one. Can you please help me out? They're in the training room. I need a break..." She said while she took a seat .

" Sure" you replied. Seeing her in such a tired state made you feel sorry for her.

As you were walking there you could hear the splashing of liquid.

"I've come here to help."

Everyone in the room froze. Sumi, naho, kiyo stopped stretching the boar headed male and ran towards you.

" [Y/N] nee chan! "

You hugged them and looked at the boys

" Konnichiwa. My name is [Y/N]. Aoi is taking a break so I will be joining you all for today's training "

You were too overpowered for all of the boys. You learned their names Tanjiro, Zenitsu , inosuke. Tanjiro was the one with the demon. It's not like you hate demons that much so you didn't mind him. Zenitsu wanted to marry you but you just ignored him. Inosuke was trying so hard to beat you but he just couldn't.

The most sane one is Tanjiro

He treated you politely and kindly. You treated him kindly as well since he didn't seem to be a bad person.

[Time skip]

The next day you could see tanjiro trying to master full concentration from your room. You already mastered it along with kanae and shinobu. You decided to join him since you had nothing better to do.

" Ah [y/n] san did I disturb you? Sorry I-"

"Don't worry you didn't I just came here simply because I was bored."

" Oh... By the way if you don't mind me asking.. did anything happen to you before"

You looked at him strangely

"Why?"

He looked back with a sad face.

"I can smell a strong sense of sadness coming from you.."

You chuckled and explained your whole story to him since you knew he wasn't gonna stop asking about it.

"And that's how I stop loving...."

You ended your story while staring into the night sky. Both of you chatted till night.

You then turned to him and see that he had a tear running down his face.

"Tanjiro? Are you ok?"

Tanjiro snapped out of trance

"Eh?! Oh yes yes yes. [Y/N] San that was.. depressing... You are a strong person.. " he said while placing both of his arms on your shoulders
