It was a normal day at the butterfly estate. Shinobu and the rest were training. While [y/n] was doing some calligraphy since she wasn't a demon slayer.
Who said only demon slayers can have a nichirin blade?
[Y/n] has like 10 of those, most of them are from haganezuka cause they're like best friends.
"Y/NNNN CHANNN" a VERY familiar voice was heard from all the way at the garden.
Zenitsu was zooming past the other people and jumped on you.
Let's just say their relationship [as friends] has gone closer over the days. You taught him how to swing his nichirin blade more swiftly and taught him a little bit more about calligraphy. Sometimes if his training finishes earlier,both of you would go somewhere and have some tea. He told you about his family and nezuko. You truly feel sorry for him. Not only did his family die but his sister became a demon.
Tanjiro wouldn't admit it but he feel in love with you. You helped him when he needed help. You encouraged him when he was training full concentration breathing. You treated nezuko like a human being! How could he not fall for you?
But....
There is one small problem.... and it's Zenitsu.
Zenitsu has also been very close to you, inosuke as well, having him falling for nezuko is already another problem for tanjiro but [y/n] ?
"ah! I already finished the art work wanna see?"

She pulled out a scroll from a box and rolled it out.

The room was silent for awhile. Even inosuke.
"UWAHH [Y/N] CHAN YOU'RE SUCH A GODDESS!" Zenitsu Yelled as he hugged you and You pat his hair lightly
[ Tanjiro's pov]
Hm.... Why does zenitsu get to hug her so freely... Don't he knows what's personal space ?
"Zenitsu! Don't hug her like that!" I said as I tried to pull him away.
"NOOOOoooo I wanna hug her"
He wailed.
"It's ok tanjiro just let him be.. say want to have tea with me later ?" You asked as zenitsu hugged you tightly, because poor boy got hit in the face multiple times while sparing with inosuke and needs comfort.
"...fine.." he puffed his cheeks and sat down.
[ Time skip cause I can]
Both of you and tanjiro was sitting at in front of the training grounds
You felt awkward since after the zenitsu incident tanjiro wouldn't talk to you alot.
There was a very awkward silence but you decided to break.
"Tanjiro... Did I anger you?"
Tanjiro looked at you with a surprised face.
You started to tear up since you didn't want to lose the person you love. You admit that you've fallen for him.. but you thought he wouldn't like you back.
'oh no-" tanjiro thought, he didn't mean to hurt you in anyway.
" [Y-y/n] I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to hurt you.. I'm not mad at you. I'm just little worked up about zenitsu..." He caressed you cheek.
He gathered up his courage. And moved his hands to your shoulders.
"T-the truth i-is. I like you and I can't stand zenitsu being so close to you please don't let this affect our friendship i- "
You cutted him off with a hug
" I like you too tanjiro..I'm glad that you liked me back.."
After both of you pulled away. The both of you giggled and enjoyed the rest of the day together

After telling the rest about your relationship. Everyone was happy for the both of you
Well not zenitsu at first but he got over it.
Shinobu was actually a secret shipper so was mitsuri.
Even oyakata sama approves it.
Both of you were walking to your place. When you suddenly asked him.
" Hey tanjiro.."
" Hm?"
" Were you jealous just now?"
His face turned redder than urokodaki sensei's mask.
"N-no. M-maybe. Y-yes..."
You softly laughed at how cute he acted
"H-hey it's not funny!"
" Don't worry tanjiro.. the only person I would ever love is you."
