Chapter 21

*Y/N P.O.V.*

Suga led me through another hallway, and at the end of it was a large wooden door. He nodded at the people who were guarding the door, and they nodded back.

"Now you don't have to do any speaking unless we tell you so." He warned.
"Yes sir." I replied.

I was nervous, but I was trying my best to hide it. I've always been dealing with things alone, along with Dean, and nothing really made me feel as nervous as this did. I didn't even know why I was so nervous. My legs were weak, and my palms were sweating a little. I think it was because, for the first time in so long, I was so close to my dream. It felt like everything I've been doing has been leading up to this moment.

Suga opened the door, and inside sat a handsome guy. He greeted both of us with a smile.

"Suga hyung." The guy said.
"Taehyung-ah." Suga said, pulling up a chair.

I had no idea what to do, so I just stood there as confident as possible, my hands behind my back, my chest puffed up a little, and my head held high.

"What seems to be the problem this time." V asked.
"We've got a black flame here." Suga said, not even looking at V.

This was such a weird relationship, if V was the head of the hunters, I thought that he'd be treated with a little bit more respect. But Suga showed no signs of respect, he treated him as if he was an equal. Even V called Suga "hyung".

V looked up at me. Narrowing his eyes a little, but his expression quickly turned back into that warm smile he greeted me with. V looked around, signaling all the people inside the room to leave, and they did.

Once everyone had left the room, V spoke up.

"I can tell." V said.

Suga widened his eyes.

"How? There are no signs. I felt nothing this entire time walking with her." Suga said.
"This is why I'm here." V said, smirking a little.

I was so confused as to what they were going on about. I wanted to ask, but I thought that if I did something stupid, all the effort I put in to get to here would then all go to waste. So I decided to remain silent.

"What should we do with her?" Suga then asked.
"You decide." V said.
"I don't think she seems like a threat." Suga started, "I told her that we're putting her in every department. I want to push her limits, and see how it goes." 

What did he mean by "I don't think she seems like a threat"? Since when was I even a threat to begin with?

"There's a risk behind doing that, and you know it." V warned.
"And I think we're prepared for that, if it was to ever happen." Suga said, with extreme confidence.
"What if we fail?" V asked.
"That's not possible." Suga simply replied.

V sighed and shook his head while letting of a weak smile.

"Confident as usual hyung." He said, and then turned to me, "So what's your name?" He asked.
"Y/N sir." I replied.
"Y/N, I know you're confused as to what we're talking about," He said, "But don't worry, you're in good hands."

I nodded.

"Well hyung, if you had everything planned out already, what was the purpose to this meeting?" V said, sitting back.
"To make sure that the flame was right, and to tell you about it." Suga said.

V nodded.

"Now that that's over, I think we're good to go and bring her to her departments." Suga said standing up.
"As you wish hyung." V said, as Suga stood up, pointing his head to the door, telling me it was time to leave.

I bowed to V, and he waved back smiling.

"It was nice meeting you, Y/N." He said, as Suga closed the door.
"Don't worry about the conversation, your job is to train as best as you can. Don't think that just qualifying to be a vampire hunter immediately allows you to go on missions." Suga said.
"I understand." I replied.

He lead me through more hallways, and arrived at this place filled with people holding files, running around. The place was covered in computers, papers all over the place, and people talking into walkie-talkies.

"So this is the strategizing department as I mentioned before," Suga said, "As you know, every single one of the people here have a gift in their brains, and are the brains of the entire hunters community." 

I nodded.

"This'll be your first department to work in, I'll be leaving you here since I hate this department the most. RM should take over you, and he'll be here any moment. I'll get going first, I have other things to do." Suga said leaving.

You were left alone, standing there, not knowing what to do. Until someone tapped you lightly on the shoulder.

"You must be Y/N."

So here I am, and here's the update :DD Sorry it took so long, but I'm planning to be updating more frequently, but there's not guarantee to that. I'll come back and update this book weekly once one of the other two books is completed.
