Chapter 19

*Y/N P.O.V.*

  "Hi." Jimin smiled sweetly.

  I didn't believe how such a sweet guy would be able to be a vampire hunter. He had a baby face, and everytime he smiled, his eyes would squint into a line, making him seem like an innocent child. 

  "Hi..." You said.
  "I guess we're going to be partners from now on huh?" Rosé said.
  "I don't know. I just hope we make it out alive." I shrugged.
  "Don't worry, I'm sure that's what Suga's meant to say. Just act all tough, and scare people off. There are so many vampire hunters out there, if it were truly like what he said, we would have like, five hunters left." Jimin said.

  I didn't feel very convinced, but I knew this wasn't the time to back out anymore. The headmaster gave us the chance to back out, and we knew that being a hunter meant risking your life, and putting it to bet. If anything were to happen, I could only blame myself.

  "Are you guys done talking?" Suga asked, making the three of us jump.

  We turned around and there he was, with a torch in his hand, but the fire on it, instead of being orange-red, like normal fire. This fire was white.

  "I'm sure you guys noticed the white fire on this torch," He started, "You guys will need to burn your contracts on it, in the middle of these statues. The fire will turn into a color, telling you where your talents lie, and placing you into a department. You should have nothing to worry about, unless the fire turns black." Suga said.

  We looked at each other, and shrugged our shoulders.

  "If no one is going to volunteer first, I will randomly pick one of you to." Suga said, placing in the torch on the stand in the middle. 
  "I'll go first!" Rosé walked up saying. 

  Suga nodded, and backed up, signalling both Jimin and I to do the same thing. Rosé took a deep breath, and began to burn the contract. Nothing happened the first few seconds, but then the flame turned big, and shot up a little. A bright green color took over, but it went back to its original form quickly after.

  "You have a talent in healing." Suga explained. 
  "Does that mean I wouldn't be able to fight?" Rosé sounded disappointed.
  "I will go into details later. Who's next" He looked at the both of us.

  I was about to go up when Jimin already walked up to the flame. He did the same thing, burnt his contract and waited for the flame to change color. The flame shot up a little, turning into a bright red color, then going back down again.

  "You're front line fighting material." Suga nodded in satisfaction. 

  Then there's was me left, I walked up to the flame. My heart pounding. I knew that this was only a placement, and there was no failling in it, but for some reason I was really nervous to see the results. I didn't know what department I wanted to be placed in. I didn't even know there were departments to start with.

  I slowly put my contract on the flame, and watched it burn. I took a few steps back, and waited for a color change. But there weren't any. I looked back to Jimin and Rosé, but they didn't know what was up either. 

  Suga couldn't take it anymore, and walked up. He was about to examine the flame, when the flame shot up to the ceiling, burning the entire ceiling in this black flame. I was shocked by seeing this. Suga warned us to not get a black flame, but this wasn't something I could control. I looked up at Suga, as he narrowed his eyes.

  The flame went back down. There was no other color but black.

  "What's your name?" He asked.
  "Y/N." I responded. 
  "Interesting..." He said.

  he signaled Rosé and Jimin to come and made us stand in a straight line. 

  "You, what's your name?" He pointed at Rosé,
  "Rosé, sir." She replied.
  "And yours?" He asked Jimin.
  "Jimin." Jimin nodded.

  Suga nodded.

  "Rosé, as I said before you have a talent in healing. As for fighting? When running into vampires, fighting skills are a must for any hunter in any department. Your job might be harder as well, since you will frequently run into situations where you need to heal your partner, and fight off vampires at the same time." Suga said, as Rosé nodded happily.

  "Jimin, you have a talent in fighting, meaning you will be in the front line. You will be the person doing most of the killing, and almost always be in action, but you will need to listen to the people in the tactics department, since they are trained to mess around with tactics. They're the brain of us." Suga said.

  He then landed his eyes on me, and I gulped.

  "As for you?" he started,

  "You're going to be placed in every department."
