Getting lock up twice in less than 24 hours was not a good look. Shawn sat on a chair with his hands tied in a cell, can't help but wonder if he was wrong to shoot that man. Instantly Javi walked in grabbing a chair and sat down facing him.
"You know your in trouble, right?" Javi asked, his voice echoed in the empty concrete room.
"Obviously, I just wanna understand why?" Shawn replied with atitude. This furiated Javi, causing him to asked.
"You honestly think you did nothing wrong?"
"Well yeah, I was chasing the asshole who burned the crops only for the dead asshole to appear out of nowhere sucker punching me, letting the culprit escape." Shawn explained trying to justify what he did.
"Shawn, we don't know that, we don't have proof."
"So what? You think the crops just magically caught fire that late at night."
"Of course not."
"Then what's the point of this. Let me out and lets find the basterd who did this."
"That's not how it works."
"Then how does it work, do I need a fucking Genie."
"Shawn you killed a man in cold blood."
"Yeah, cause he started."
"THEN WHERE IS THE FUCKING PROOF, SHAWN!!!!??" Javi yelled angrily. This startled Shawn, terrified him even.
"God dammit, sorry." Javi sighed saying.
"You.....you knew him?"
"Yes.....everyone does. Everyones know him as a nice guy. The crops that got burned....he was who planted them in the first place. That is why its so hard for me to believe you." He explained slowly getting up from his chair.
"So what? Are ya'll gonna kill me or just keep me as some sort of prisoner."
"Even though your a kid, you know what you did. Execution is what the heads are discussing." Javi explains as he exits the room about to close the door.
"But your in charge of this camp, why aren't you discussing my penalty as well."
"I don't want to kill a kid."
"Then tell the heads that...." Shawn got up saying only for Javi to ignore him closing the door.
"Shit....." Shawn sighed falling back in his chair. Imediately he began to look around despretly.
"I gotta get out of here...." he muttered.
Javi finally made it to the top of the stairs saw Kate, with a face saying 'I told you so'.
"Okay fine, go ahead say it."
"Say what....?"
"Nevermind then." He sighed with a breath of relief. Finally he arrived beside her and they began to wonder further down into the town Richmond. Richmond was over packed with people as always, people were everywhere doing all sorts of things.
"David is about to head out."
"Hm? Who's he bringing with him?"
"I think Felix and Josh. He says Felix is quick on his feet while Josh actually know his stuff so those two alone will do."
"Yeah no shit we better not lose them."
"Don't Jinx it." Kate smile saying. They then made there way over to the crops that were burned which was now surrounded by people. Making their way through the crowd and arriving at the front. They finally saw the mess, the ashes of what they built over these pass months. Stepping further they saw some men and women with guns standing around the mess making sure no one unauthorised get pass.
