I had stared at the man who was watching me intently, every single movement I wanted to make and he would be there in a moment just to try help me, this was weird. "What are you doing?" His green eyes looked at me as I tried to get out of the bed they all stood around. The taller one speaking now. "Valen, she doesn't remember a thing, you'll have to introduce her to us." his suggestion sounded more reasonable than anything so far.

Valen cleared his throat as he sat there at the side of the bed, slowly standing up and gesturing his hand towards Hexon, "This tall handsome man." he rolled his eyes," His name is Hexon." she nodded, then pointing to the corner, "This one, young and the last born, is Soren." his smile wide and brightening, "this one--" he had a hand on his shoulder," Is Aeon, the second born." she raised a brow now, brothers? Valen pointing to the edge of the bed where another broad shouldered man was, "His name is Brayve." She looked at him, his eyes a green just like Valens, "this one here is Valen." Soren said pointing to his eldest brother, a grin on Valens face. Not sure of what to do as she glanced around at them, not a word spoken, so he kneeled down beside her, and Soren spoke, "Valen.is your husband." Valen smiled bigger, a little embarrassed as he leaned forward, "Hello darling." her face turned a bright red, "w-what?" she looked frantically around, then back at him. "No you ain't." He chuckled to himself as his brothers exchanged a look.

Clearing his throat again, "I am, Lorelley." She frowned, "When?" he blinked, "Since two years ago." She furrowed her brows now, looking at him. "That doesn't sound right to my memory." Valen furrowed his brow in confusion. "I am though, I asked for your hand." She quickly turned to the side, standing up. "Don't lie to me, my father wouldn't permit it." everyone fell silent, "your---father." Valen stood up, he was quite tall, "Lorelley, let me explain something." before he spoke she turned.

Who was this guy? Valen. Saying such words, my father would never permit me to marry so young, "That can't be. I'm only nineteen--" Valen intterupted, "You're actually twenty four." She felt shocked. "How long was I sleeping?" Perplexed, he blinked then covered his mouth with one hand, turning slightly to the side, facing Hexon who was trying not to laugh, "Why don't we go eat?" he said waving to the others. Each of them following. Lorelley throwing the blankets aside, running for the door, ahead of them, rushing down the stairs, "Lorelley!" Valen called after her, running to try catch her.

I ran as fast as I could but damn was that no use, I wobbled and he was right there, I pulled my hand away, pushing him aside, "don't touch me!" He backed up a little, "I don't know you guys." I tried pushing past him but his strong arms were quickly around my waist, I didn't like that feeling, it reminded me of a feeling I couldn't remember. "Let go!" I shouted, trying to push him away, instead he picked me up with ease, I struggled and he pretty much dragged me towards a beautiful dinning area. "Lorelley, someone grab her a chair." Quickly Aeon pulled one forth. Sitting me there, I sat and crossed my arms, huffing in anger.

Valen couldn't help but laugh as he walked to the front of her, hands on his thighs as he leaned forward, his face close to her own, "Lorelley, I am your husband Valen Mortiferous."

I raised a brow, "that don't mean anything, I have no ring." His eyes darkened, "I also gave you something, but you've done something with it." I spat, "like hell I did, must be because we ain't married." He again covered his mouth, hand on his elbow. Hexon now looking at Soren who shrugged his shoulders. Suddenly I was being pushed with the chair towards a table, My hands resting on my thighs as I looked back, seeing Soren smiling happily, "I missed you." he beamed, I couldn't help but smile. "Thanks?" I turned forward and Aeon placed a plate in front of me with food on it; meat and vegetables, and a tall glass of milk. "So...what? I eat with you guys?" I asked, all of them taking a seat-- Valen at the front of the far end. Facing me. I looked down and couldn't help but wonder what was going on, looking at him. He was wearing a hooded cape, a dark grey long sleeved shirt with a black vest, his delicate hands resting on the table, staring at his food. They each bowed their heads and prayed? I looked around, there was a chandelier above us, such pretty and exquisite designs made out of antlers.

Valen looked at her from under his hair, watching as she gazed around, admiring the cabin that they worked on for years to make their own home. Being that it used to be a small shack, back when the brothers were all younger in their teens, watching after their mother. He wondered how she thought she had a father, when long ago she had said that he left her with her mother. What was he missing? He'd have to let her go with the flow, hoping she'd remember him? if not, then he'd have to start over with her; which meant to remarry? A grin now on his face, her eyes finally resting on him. Her eyebrow raised. "What?" he just shrugged.

I sat on the steps of this place, wondering what had happened to me, why was I here? why did they say they know me? I wandered over to the garden of flowers that was by the trees. Looking ahead at the forest, they looked so enchanting, such a weird place. Where was my father? Was I stolen? I'd run, but my legs can't get me that far since I still felt wobbly. I sighed deeply, this would have to be for now, I plucked a single rose from the garden, smelling the aroma. It was sweet and reminded me of a time me and my father would pick roses for my mother's birthday.

Hexon and Soren watched from the huge window in the sitting room, facing Lorelley who was kneeling in the dead grass, picking roses, snipping them with a small knife that Valen handed her earlier. Hexon looked to Soren, "Were you able to see her soul?" He nodded, "I saw her, it's the right soul....she just doesn't remember anything, she might not." Hexon looked back at her as she started walking towards the small pond in the back of the huge gazebo structure they had built.

"Valen needs to give her some time brother, I know he feels anxious." Soren smiled to himself, "My wife would feel the same sometimes, confused why she was here. Before her passing, she said watch over Lorelley. Since she was like her sister." Soren said, continuing to read his book.
