Chapter twenty two

"How long have you been having these symptoms hinata san" the doctor asked hinata after the check up routine.
Sasuke was waiting with her.
"For a week now" sasuke answered.
Hinata glared at sasuke but she refrain from scowling.
"Well, is this your husband hinata san?" The doctor asked.
Sasuke was taken aback by such question.
Hinata was going to say no when sasuke interrupted.
"Uh..yes, i am courting her" sasuke said.
The doctor looked at both of them.
"You are both minors...still..." the doctor said.
Sasuke grinned his teeth, he glared at the doctor.
"However, i would like to congratulate you, hinata san...you are with child" the doctor smiled cheaply.
Sasuke's mouth turned to a wide smile, for confirming the pregnancy.
Finally, hinata would always be bound to him.
Sasuke leaned to hold her hands when she just pulled it away.
Sasuke felt the color drained from his face, but he dismissed it, needless to say, no matter how much hinata tried, she is his.
"These are some tips for you, hinata san, and vitamins for the baby...and.." the doctor said as he wrote down the prescription, and handed hinata and sasuke books for 'how to be a mother, and signs of pregnancy, bonding for parents and stuff'.
"Please, the next check up is in three weeks" the doctor continued, but hinata was looking down.
No words can describe what she was feeling.
But the right words was 'confused' so much confused.
Scared, she was scared, she is still young, having dreams, all these dreams, her dreams of traveling the world, going to college.
How can she reach her goals and dreams when she is bound to sasuke and a baby!
And what if she was selfish...wanted to abandon all of that, doesn't that make her a bad person.
Doesn't make her a bad mom.
She always wanted a family, a loving warm family, she always wanted to be a good mom, to make it up for the loss of her dear mother at early age.
She had the dreams of cuddling her baby, kissing her husband goodbye, having those dear family moments with her loving husband, but at what? Twenty five maybe? After reaching her dreams.
But now, life had mocked her, and changed all those plans.
Her train of thoughts were cut when the doctor handed them a flyer.
"These are programs for adoption...if you want to keep the child..and feel you are still young to raise a child..." the doctor said, hinata's eyes widened.
No, she can't let go of her child.
Adoption!
Hinata glared at the doctor, as she was going to scowl at the doctor, sasuke did the job, quiet well.
"Well, doctor, my son, an uchiha, won't be raised away from his family, and from the uchiha clan...so...don't you dare say that as an option..." sasuke growled, he took the prescription, and grabbed hinata's hands roughly, pulled her up, and dragged her out.

Sasuke and hinata were walking back home, the walk was silent as always.
Hinata looking down, sasuke tried to place his over her cheeks, but she flinched a little away.
Sasuke looked down and bite his lips.
"I...thought you'd be happy..." sasuke said.
"Happy about what? Being a minor!!! With a guy who takes me against my will..." hinata's words fell like cold stabs inside sasuke's heart.
"Hinata...i..i just, love you, i can't..imagine you..being someone else's" sasuke looked down.
"Its your fault...you lied and bet on me! As if i am such a cheap property of yours uchiha!" She growled.
"I dropped the bet hinata, i swear" he pleaded.
"You lied...and took me against my will, spread the rumor!!! And now the rumor is true sasuke!, you tarnished my name" hinata sobbed and hiccuped.
"Tarnished whose name hinata, you aren't the first or the last one to be pregnant, and you are an uchiha now, tarnished what" sasuke said.
"What about my honor!" She snorted.
Sasuke looked down.
"I...i am sorry.." he said as he slowly bowed, resting his head on her shoulder.
"Forgive me" he said.
Hinata was on a verge of resting her hands over his shoulder and back, patting him, but she refrained.
Hinata pushed him away with tears in her eyes, and as she turned to walk away, sasuke grabbed her wrists tightly and pulled her roughly to his hug, hinata started sobbing inside his embrace.
And after a while, she pushed him away, and both walked away.

When sasuke and hinata arrived home, hinata went straight up stairs, and Mikoto noticed the change of demeanor.
She signed to sasuke.
He came inside.
"So..." Mikoto asked.
"She is pregnant..." Sasuke looked down.
"Really, congratulations, thats great..." Mikoto cupped his cheeks and leaned for a kiss.
"Why so gloomy, sasuke!" She tilted her head.
"Hinata isn't happy..mother" he said in a low tone, as his voice cracked.
"Oh, dear, i understand...i think this is the right time for both of you to bond..you know" Mikoto smiled at her young child.
"She is...so harsh! I..i guess i deserve that..if only she could hear me out or even forgive me" sasuke said.
"Honey, you two shall bond shortly...show her some affection, a woman needs affection the most during her pregnancy times" Mikoto smiled reassuring her flustered son.
Sasuke nodded.
"so, call her for dinner then" she smiled and let him go.
