Chapter twenty five, final chapter

Mikoto went inside sasuke's room to find hinata finished her shower and was drying her hair
Mikoto went there and hugged hinata tightly.
"Okairimashta hina chan" Mikoto said as she cupped her cheeks and kissed her.
Hinata smiled and then turned to sit on bed.
"Want to eat?" She asked Hinata.
Hinata shook her head.
"I just want to rest.." she said as she dug herself under the sheets.
Mikoto went and kissed her forehead and brushed her bangs.
She turned and turned off the light.
"Good night hinata chan" she said and closed the doors.
Hinata kept her gaze to the ceiling.
Her past stay with the uchiha's changed many of her aspects.
Shisui always praised her, Madara and fugaku even though their words were harsh, yet she was treated like a brat princess, like a glass, too soft so she won't break.
Even though they told her she can't escape her fate being an uchiha or being with sasuke, yet they showed her how to act as an uchiha.
Hinata had to admit it, she loved this family.
As if she missed being around family spirit.
Hinata sighed as she thought about how sasuke looked like when she came.
He probably wasn't eaten as he lost weight apparently.
He was grieving.
Hinata turned to the side and thought about what she has just told him.
Maybe she was too harsh.
Leaving him taught him a lesson.
Maybe she needed to listen to his sincere words and acts, he truly did drop the bet and didn't cheat on her.
Maybe she needs to give him one more chance.
But no, he broke her heart and yet, didn't apologize.
Hinata cursed inwardly.
Fuck these hormones.
She sighed as she heard the door opened, showing the uchiha.
Hinata turned and gave sasuke a glare, then she turned back to her side.
Sasuke went over and sat at the edge of the bed.
He sighed as he looked down.
He knew he deserved what happened to him.
"Hinata..." sasuke started.
He knew she won't respond but he knows she is listening to him regardless.
"Hinata...i..." he stammered.
"Hinata i am sorry...and you are right, nothing is bounding you to me except the child..." sasuke tried to keep his voice from shaking.
"I thought, i thought that what bounded us was our feelings, our emotions...love..." sasuke sighed.
"The love that was turned to a ripened fruit that you are holding inside your belly..." sasuke said.
"I am sorry for betting on you in the first place, and i am sorry for anything bad i have done to you..and keeping you here against your will..." sasuke said.
He tried to muffle his cried and sobs.
"I...i won't ask for another chance, i don't deserve it..." he said as hinata listened and her eyes were filled with tears.
"I was a dumbass, it would have been better if i just apologized" he sighed.
"You are free to go hinata...if you don't want the courtship, even if my family are intimidating and would track you down, i'd be the one to protect you against their wrath...but..." he hiccuped.
"Grant me one wish and let me see my unborn child, if you may, and i can take full responsibility of it..." he sobbed.
Hinata turned around, as she stretched to grab sasuke but she was too slow.
Sasuke was long gone.
Hinata curled inside the bed, and never ever in her life she cried her heart out like that.
Hinata figured out, she can't imagine her life without sasuke.

The next day, sasuke got up and headed for his morning routine.
He sat on the table waiting to finish breakfast.
It all came to an end, he knew today he won't be probably seeing hinata again.
Maybe steal some glances, maybe watch her from afar, like a homeless kid, watching a piece of jewelry, wishing to own it but he can't have it or even afford.
He deserved it, but he needed to get his life back on track.
Maybe he is bound to be forever cursed by her love and not getting the hyuga woman, like all his ancestor.
Like Madara.
Sasuke finished eating and headed for the door, just to see hinata going down the stairs.
He looked at her one last time and then exited for school.
Sasuke proceeded his school day fine, he started to push himself to focus back on training and subjects.
He would watch hinata from afar, she was happier being separated from him.
He was so jealous when he saw her laughing with Levi, but at least, Levi didn't make her cry.
Something sasuke did..many times.
But as always, something always missing...here not being there is unbearable.
He prayed for the lord to give him the strength to just bear the pain of being away, and helping him to get through the sleepless nights he is about to face.
Sasuke waved for his friends as they all headed back home to find hinata waiting for him outside the school gate, as usual.
Like old time sake.
He looked at her then looked down, sasuke walked towards her, and then just passed by her.
Hinata followed him, when sasuke noticed that she was heading the same way he was.
Sasuke stopped then turned.
"I...where are you going?" He stammered.
"Home" she said.
"Ah..but..your house is that way" he said pointing in the opposite way.
Hinata scoffed and passed him and kept walking.
Thats when sasuke understood.
Hinata is literally giving him a second chance.
And this time, he'll prove it, he'll prove he is worthy of it.
He ran towards her.
"Slow down..hinata chan" he said
"Don't get too full of yourself sasuke...i haven't forgiven you yet" she scoffed.
Sasuke sighed and walked silently.
They went back home, and did their afternoon routine.
Sasuke watched as hinata was brushing her hair.
Sasuke grabbed her hands and stopped her.
She glared at him.
He sighed then said.
"Gommenne hinata" he said as he kissed her hands and forehead.
He then leaned his head on her shoulders, dug his fave in the crook of her neck then whispered huskily.
"Truce" he asked
Hinata sighed then nodded.
"Can we start over?" He asked with a muffle tone upon her ears.
"Hai.." hinata's voice was raspy.
Sasuke leaned a little further.
He cupped her cheeks and rested his forehead on hers.
"Can..can i make love to you..." he asked sure that she'd reject.
But he was bewildered when hinata actually crashed her lips with his, in a passionate hot kiss.
Hinata did miss sasuke..hinata did love sasuke.
And tonight they made love.

Sasuke helped hinata in her everyday routines, her pregnancy was hard as she knew they were twins.
Uchiha's...
She reconciled with her father, Itachi started courting hanabi so did sasuke courted hinata.
Sasuke helped her with her studies to pursuit her own dream of becoming a doctor.
They both studied together, he escorted her in every doctor check up.
Sasuke also pursuit his dreams, both got the scores and headed to the same college.
It was tough at first since she gave birth, her second year at school was tough, hinata and sasuke both had to deal with the babies, both changed shifts upon them, so they'd raise the babies together and focus on their studies.
Sooner they became more acquainted.
They had twin boys, One named Ryota and the other named Agaki. Both had two different eye colors, one from hinata and the other from sasuke.
They had sasuke's raven hair and pale skin.
But Agaki was shy like hinata and Ryota was sasuke's copy.
Sasuke reconciled with Neji, and he became friends with Levi, who dated Annie.
Now sasuke had his own company, and hinata started working at her own hospital.

Sasuke sat down on the dining table waiting for his twenty five years old wife to finish cooking.
Hinata fixed the table.
"Ryota, Agaki, Aisla, Rukawa...dinner is ready" she yelled summoning her children.
Ryota and Agaki were now nine years old, Aisla was six old girl who looked like sasuke exactly, and Rukawa a five year old boy, had his father's hair but his mother's pale orbs.
Hinata sat down, by sasuke.
"M..my..na..name i..is..hi..hinata.." sasuke stammered, hinata chuckled and roughly punched his stomach.
The family laughed and all ate.
Sasuke looked at his beautiful wife.
He said.
'I was blessed with a curse' he smiled as he saw his sunshine lighting his dark world.
