The Reunion

Hello guys! Another chapter of their fifth anniversary. Oh and before I forgot Natsu and Lucy live in the Heartfilia Konzern. And this is a non magic story. What will happen in this reunion? Will this reunion bring Natsu and Lucy closer? Or will this bring hem farther apart? We'll read to find out.

Natsu's POV

I woke up with somebody taping my shoulder gently. I opened my eyes to see Lucy's face dangerously close to mine. All I wanted to do at the moment is grab her face and kiss her. But once Lucy realized the position that were in she backed away and smiled at me.

"Wake up sleepy head. It's already 7:00 and it's gets 30 minutes to drive to crocus so you better hurry up and fix yourself. We don't want to be late you know. And I know you don't want to face the wrath of Erza again. You know how she hates people who are late especially on big events just like this one." She said as she walked out of the room probably to cook breakfast.

At the mention of Erza's name I shivered and ran to the bathroom and took the quickest shower in my life's existence, I'm lucky that my clothes are in the bathroom already. So I put on my clothes and got out of the bathroom.

I went to the kitchen to see Lucy already finished cooking breakfast and is setting the plates. When we were done it was already 7:55 so went in the car and our driver Capricorn drove us to crocus. But me having motion sickness almost threw up everywhere if it wasn't for Lucy putting my head in her lap and slowly combing my hair with her fingers. If it's a short ride I still get motion sickness. But if it a long ride, I stop getting motion sickness after the first couple of hours.

"Just sleep Natsu. I'll wake you up when we get there." She said. And I closed my eyes and let sleep overtook me.

Time skip: 25 minutes later.

I woke up and we were already in the border of crocus. Just 5 minutes away from fairy tail high. I almost jumped out of the car once it stopped. We got of the car and stood in front of the school. As we went in I notice all the stares from the men who were eyeing Lucy like a predator eyeing its prey. So I slid an arm around Lucy's waist and tugged her towards me as we near the entrance to the gym where the reunion was being held.

As we got there we saw some old and new faces. I also saw our friends from different schools like Sherry and Lyon from Lamia Scale high. Hibiki, Ren, and Eve from Blue Pegasus high. And other friends from Mermaid heel.

"Lucy! Lucy!" We heard someone scream and we looked at the source and saw Levy, Lucy's best friend in high school and still best friend until now, run to us and hugged the life out of Lucy.

"I missed you, we have a lot of catching up to do. Natsu can I borrow Lucy for a moment please." She said as she drag Lucy to where the other girls are without even letting me answer her question. Then I saw Gajeel approach me.

"So Salamander, pipsqueak stole bunny-girl huh?" He said and I nodded.

"I already knew you two would be together." He suddenly said which startled me.

"Huh?"

"You and bunny-girl. I already knew she has the hots for ya. Even when she gave herself up just to save you." He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Oh right, we weren't supposed to tell you. But then it was a long time ago and you deserve to know. When you were kidnapped by us phantom students, our uh real target was Lucy, but only you were in her house when we went there, so we used you to get to her. And she was about to give herself to us so that we could bring her to her father. If it weren't for you finding your inner strength and defeating me and master Makarov defeating master Jose." He told me . Making my eyes widen. When I woke up after that fight I asked master what they wanted and he just said that it was something in Fairy Tail that cannot be replaced.

"Why would Lucy do that? I knew how much she hated her father before." I asked

"I asked the same question before and she said and I quote 'Natsu's life is more important than my freedom'" he said.

"Well I have to go somewhere else so bye." Gajeel said. As I was walking I heard a familiar voice.

"Hey flamebrain I'm glad you can make it." Gray, my long time rival said/insulted me.

"What did you say ice princess!?" I said back.

"What did you call me!?" He yelled at me.

"I called you ice princess, is there a problem?" I asked back.

"Of course there is flame head!" He said.

"Pervert!" I yelled at him.

"Slanty eyes!" He yelled.

"Droopy eyes!" I yelled back.

"Enough!" A familiar voice said and we quivered already knowing who the owner of the said voice is.

"Do I hear any fighting between you two?" She asked.

"N-n-no E-e-erza we are getting along just fine." Gray said as he looped his arms around my shoulders and I did the same to him.

"Aye!" I said not finding any other word to say.

"Good." She said and walked away to her husband Jellal. While I sat at one of the empty tables thinking about things. Why would Lucy give up her freedom for me? Did she love me all that time? Ugh this is so frustrating! I was about to stand up but someone grabbed my arm and................
