The earth cracked and crumbled
when I lost you.Stars falling
from the sky,
like diamonds raining into the sea.The moon fractured
like a broken mirror,
fragments falling apart
while I watched,Leaving nothing
but an empty abyss
in the sky.The ground opened up
beneath my feet,
a yawning black chasm
that swallowed me whole.The fall felt like a lifetime.
