Chapter 13

Hazel ran out of the area. What had she just saw? How could it be so similar....? How could it?

- flashback -

Hazel entered the classroom. It has been 2 days since she and Leon last quarrelled. But up til now, he didn't seem to even Care about her. Sooyeon promised to help her speak to Leon, since SOoyeon herself was quite close to him. But there was still no progress. Leon must still had been angry at her. Hazel walked towards Leon's seat and tapped his shoulder.

"Hey..," she spoke up.

Leon looked at her and saw it was her, but he didnt know what to say.

"I'm sorry, okay?" Hazel finally did it. She usually don't apologise, even if sometimes she knew she was in the wrong. But, she couldnt take it anymore, this cold war was hurting her, and she missed him, for these two days. BUt she did not know, she had already lost him, since two days ago. They quarreled because HAzel saw leon and sooyeon hugging but leon stated he was simply comforting her, and it was on Hazel's behalf. She felt that she was wrong, but she just could not bring herself to apologise. Now, she finally apologised, but Leon no longer cared.

"You don't have to apologise, anymore. We're over. Im with Sooyeon now." Leon stated, frankly, directly, each word piercing Hazel's heart. What? WHat did he just say? Leon, what did you just say?!

Hazel wanted to question him, but she froze there, her mouth was unable to form the correct words.
You must be kidding, right? Im sorry, leon, stop this joke....

"Stop joking." Hazel finally blurted out. But leon just sighed.

"Whatever you think, i dont want to apologise to you, so i should not accept your apology either. I dont think i should apologise to you either. ALL along you were a loner, a left out, a redundant person. I was there for you because i hoped to help someone like you not feel so lonely. I thought i could really like you because I really wanted to help you, because you seemed nice initially. I got mocked by everyone for being with you and how did you treat me? Misunderstood me because of....??? I don't deserve this, you don't deserve being with me. Sooyeon told me everything. She agreed that you shouldnt have done that. SHe was the one encouraging me and giving me support while you didnt even give a fuck about me. Like what? Shes so pretty and smart and nice and you?? Youre just a beggar a poor ugly girl. Letting your family die is already very fortunate for you. Being with you brings me to shame. So, we're over. "
Sooyeon, what did you do? You said you'll help me persuade him but you helped yourself steal my man?

HAzel took a glance at leon's chat with sooyeon in his phone and she saw sooyeon badmouthing her.

"Lol, you dont even know omg she's so fucking poor that she even takes clothes from like second hand shops, like $1 a shirt oh my goodness. Bae how do you even go out with her without tjat stench omg hahahhhhhha"

She saw a totally different side of SOoyeon.

She then recalled how Sooyeon chatted with her just in the mornjng.

"Helllloooo hazelll hahahaha can you send me the answers for math homework???? Prettt please foxy :(:( xoxo doggy "

It was like a totally different Sooyeon from that chat she had with Leon.

(A/N: its quite obvious SOoyeon is only friends with hazel because she wants Hazel's homework hahaha)

As she was thinking about Sooyeon, Sooyeon immediately walked in.

"BAbe!" Leon ran to her and started hugging her, just like how Mark hugged SOoyeon.

Hazel always wondered how sooyeon could get so many boyfriends, so it was through stealing.....
SO sooyeon, i wish you good luck with him, since you did so much just for him....and me? Actually both of you are right, im just a poor asshole...

Hazel walked back to the classroom and she met JAckson, outside the classroom, sitting on a bench. He looked, so down. ANd she did not know why. Is it because i yelled at him just now? But is it neccesssary to be SO down? I thought he was always hyper and flirty..., why is he so down....?

Hazel sat beside him and poked his shoulder .

"Jackjack"

This name, called jackson out from his thoughts, yes it was this impactful.

"Yeah?" He replied softly.

"IM sorry, for yelling at you." Hazel said. Well after her incident with Leon, she learnt how to apologise.

Jackson smiled and shuffled her bangs.

"Yah!" Hazel scoffed.

Jackson smiled.
How could i ever not forgive you, my little candy bar? But..., how are we gonna get to class like this..?

Then, Sooyeon came out of the class and saw them.

"Hey, hazel." She called as a smirk formed on her face.

Hazel looked at her, filled with emotions. Hate? Miss?

WHat can she feel?

Sooyeon touched JAckson's jawline as he fingers traced to his collar.

"Hey, i hear you're a playboy." She smirked. But Jackson was clearly not in the mood to flirt, especially after he was now so obsessed with his honey.

He pushed her hand away.

"WHat are you doing with a girl like that? Trust me, it ain't worth your time baby" $he smirked again. Jackson grabbed hold of her hand and his expression was the most fierce Hazel had ever seen.

"If you dare to even talk bad about this girl, you die. You touch her, pray for your family." Jackson threatened, with locked brows. It was almost territorial, like a wolf protecting their homes.

"Ow..." Sooyeon replied, frowning her brows sarcastically. She then walked closer to Hazel before Jackson came forward and stopped her, glaring at her.

"Wait till your past is out, hazel. We'll see if this little cute guy is still with you, or nah." Sooyeon ended with a smirk and walked back.

"CLass is starting~!" She announced as she walked.
Sooyeon, why are you doing this...?
