Chapter $45

JAYDEN P. O. V.

I woke up by the effect of the sun rays penetrating my eyes. I opened my eyes and notice that I wasn't in my room, wait... ohhh. Then it hit me; jess screaming, me comforting her, me... Kissing her and her cuddling me. I look to my side and saw jess who was in fact laying next to me. I have to be honest I have never seen jess that sad and it hurt me to see her like that... the kiss just came but to say I don't know why I kissed her but I... I like it its so awkward but amazing.

She looked absolutely cute as she slept. Her lashes are so long, her soft pink lips that left out little snores, I don't know but for the passed few days I have started having some strange feelings for her.

Really strange and confusing feelings...

I remove some strands of her hair away from her face to the back of her ear causing her to cuddle in more. Her hair is extremely soft though.

I place my hand on her cheek but then I noticed that jess was having a high temperature. I touch her arm, neck and forehead and it was the same. I slowly came down from the bed, went out of the room and went to my room and picked up my phone on the bed stand, dialed Doctor Ambrose's number, I told him the reason for the call and he said he will be here in the next thirty minutes.

About to leave my room but stopped when I saw jess, her hands were on her head she looked so pale.

"Jay... Jayden what's going on, are you in here. I feel very dizzy" she said as she stumbled around my room.

She was just about to fall but i rushed to her side immediately and picked her up before it could happen. I carried her bridal style to her room and laid her on her bed.
I Also called laura, Miss Manchango, mom, dad. Emily and Leo. To say they were all worried about jess, mostly her mom.

In twenty minutes time Doctor Ambrose came, including everyone else. I put on my shirt and went down stairs were everyone is as doctor ambrose was in jess room running some tests on her.

"Jayden, dude what exactly happened? " Leo asked with all concern.

"Well in the middle of the night I heard jess scream because she had this nightmare or memory attack of her-"

"Dad" miss Manchango completed while seated on the chair in the living room. "This is not the first time Maria is having this attack, it just that she hasn't had it experienced it again since she was 18... the thing was that Maria couldn't deal with the fact that her dad was dead and most especially seeing him lifeless even if she says she's okay she's still tensed by the thought of it. It wasn't easy to stop her from experiencing those event flashbacks but I was glad it stopped and that she was at peace but now...I don't know what to do" she says as a tear drops down her cheeks

I was about to ask her something but was interrupted by doctor ambrose
"So I have done some couple of tests on her so there is absolutely no need to worry, she is only having a high fever she will be better very soon but she does need a lot of rest for her to recover faster" he said "I'll text you the medications for you to get it" he adds and I nodded and with that he left. Everyone was already on their way upstairs.

Going upstairs I went into her room. Miss Manchango was already sited on the right hand side of the bed while laura, Leo, Emily were by the left hand side. Then mom and dad were at the side of Miss Manchango.

"Maria love how you doing " Miss Manchango asked. Jess only nodded in response. She looked so pale than before. "jess please dear there is no need for you to worry, we are all here for you " my mom said and everyone nodded with pity faces.

"Mom.... " she said her voice cracking "can I talk to you for a sec in private "she said. And with that the others left seeing that she needed privacy.

We went downstairs to the living room. we all spoke about nothing in particular before my mom and dad received an important call and with that they left.

"Jay are you sure Jessica will be okay... I mean it's possible it could happen aga-" Leo said but I cut him off.

"No it wouldn't that's why We need to help her. We need to make sure that we will all be by her side no matter what" I said with all serious in me.

No one knows but to me... I think I'm falling for jess.
