After the dinner with Jess I couldn't help but think to myself how shocked she was about the ring. Her expressions were so funny to say 

Since we were getting married very soon. My mom had told me that this might be all business but she wants it to be a grand celebration

Like why do they want it grand... it's just a business deal.

So some days before, my mom and I had gone to a jewelry store to get a ring. Not just any jewelry but Tiffany and Co

Mom loved every single ring but wanted the perfect one, that's when we saw the one I gave Jess.

It looked to perfect, it was very classy to say and also elegant I wouldn't lie.

Now I am in my study doing some work.

*Knock knock*

"come in" I answered

The door opened slightly, looking up I saw my sister's face as she came in slowly.

In conclusion She needs something

"yes" i said to get her attention which worked

"oh hey jayden. How is your day going? How is work? Have you had breakfast? The weather today looks so good if you ask me.  Right?" she asked Nervously as she rubbed the back of her hand and looked down.

I smile a little as she has been doing this since she was a little girl... adorable but mischievous.

Moving straight to the point.

"what do you want Emily?" I asked.

"whaaatt. Me... Want... Some thing... I Mean I just came to see you so... " she said hesitatingly.

Silence came upon us as I looked up at her as she did the same. But if you ask me the silence wasn't going to last in 3... 2... 1... And...

"I want to go to Emma's house for a sleepover" she said confessing. Finally

"so how is that my problem? " I asked confused

"I want to take one of your cars Pppppllllllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeee" she begged

"please jayden, please" she said while trying to form puppy eyes

"what happened to your car?" I asked

"Nothing really just want to drive something different" she replied with a fake smile

Mind you she has 6 cars.

"Really?" I asked with a raised questionable brow

"Yes" she said with a smile.

"So which do you want?" I asked as I go close to her

"Your Porsche?" She said lowly looking at me with pleading eyes,

"Wha-" I began "pleaseeeeeeeeee" she cut me off begging once again

"Ok" I said and with that she started jumping up and down saying thank you.

"OK now bye " I said and with that she left.

Smiling because it's nice to see my loved ones happy even if they are at times annoying.

After taking a shower I went down for dinner as the whole family had come.

I have a feeling that this dinner is going to be a long one.

Going to the table I greeted everyone, which they greeted back.

A gentle comforting silence came over us as we ate until my mom spoke.

"so Xavier boy tell me have you given Jess the ring? " she asked with a smile

"yeah" I answered still eating.

"so what did she say? I mean does she like it?" mom asked again this time excited

"she did like it but didn't say much, maybe because we're both rich... I guess"
I answered not been honest that much.

"so she wasn't impressed" mom said with sadness in her voice. Oh no.

"no she did. She loves it. She even... Umm... Said it was... The most beautiful thing she's ever seen" I said as I remembered the shock she was in but didn't say a thing.

"ohhh. How amazing " mom said happily clapping her hands

"yes that means this marriage will work perfectly" dad added with a grin.

Well at least they believed the lie.

Marriage here we come.
