Chapter $78

JESSICA POV

I took the keys and opened the car. I inhaled smell... hmm new car smell. It scented so fresh. Inside the car was black like black, pitch black and I loved it, I sat on the driver sit and rested my back on the sit enjoying the comfort of the car. I adjust my rear view mirror but stopped as I noticed something at the back sit.

I turned and I could not believe my eyes. He also bought a car seat for our baby girl. Aww. I came down from the car and opened the door to the back seat that was on the left. I opened the door and touched the car seat. It was beautifully soft, the whole body was pitch black leather while the white pillow pillow, pink blanket etc I loved it.

I turned to jayden and hugged him one more time before I spoke "I love you". He wrapped his hands around me  and placed a little kiss on my hair.

And all of a sudden I felt tired. I yawned causing everyone's attention to focus on me again.
"Seems someone is feeling sleepy... " Leo said as he collected the keys from my hand and gave it to leo to lock the car, before he continued " leo please lock the car and you.. " that's  me " come let's sleep " and with that we went inside.

Everyone congratulated me and I went inside to have a little nap

We went to the room and I immediately took of my shirt, leaving me in my tan top and leggings, I laid on the bed and immediately slept off while cuddling jayden.

JAYDEN POV

I was woken up by my phone ringing, I picked it up from the nightstand, I checked the caller ID and saw it was Miss Manchango. I answered immediately.

"Hello Miss Manchango, good evening " I said as I sat up to rest back on the bed head.

"Hi jayden, I was just calling to see if jess is with you"

"Umm... Yes"

"Okay can I talk to her"

"Umm... Well she's asleep"

"Oh but is she with her phone"

"Yes its right here on the nightstand "

"Well I just wanted to make sure she was fine because I've been calling her but the phone has been saying that its switched off"

"Oh"

"Yes I just wanted to confirm"

"Oh ok... she's safe and fine"

"Yeah thank you and good bye and also when she wakes up tell her to call me ok" and with that she ended the call.

With the sleep washed of my eyes after that conversation, I stood up from the bed and then to the bath room. I washed my face before coming out.

I went to the other side of the bed where jess was sleeping as I kissed her forehead, just then she giggled, I smiled at that but then she giggled again and this time she placed her hand on her tummy letting me know that it was the baby that was kicking which made her giggle.

I place my hand on her tummy as she giggled once more before sleeping back. I picked up my phone to check the time and it was 6:46pm, means time to make dinner. I stood up and went down to the kitchen but stopped in my tracks when I saw David there already cooking.

"Oh hello" I said which caught  his attention.

"Oh good day jayden, how was your sleep"

"It was... Relaxing " I said as I shrugged at my statements.

"Well thank God for that. Are you ready for dinner" he said as he switched of the gas.

"Umm yes... What did you know prepare "

"I made Italian pasta and roasted chicken"

"Wow how nice"

"Thanks. " after this a very uncomfortable silence upon us.

But didn't last long as David spoke.

"What about Jessica, how is she doing" he asked as he cleaned the cooker

"She's doing amazing, thanks for your concern" I said with a genuine smile.

"So d-" I was about to speak when someone spoke.

"Jay, where are you?" Jessica called.

"I'm down here baby" I responded.

The next thing I knew I saw jess coming down the stairs, wearing a white hodie and black shorts with her hair are flowing to one side and looking a bit wet. I think she took a bath.

"Hey baby" she said as she pecked my lips.

"Hey love " I said.

"You're up early, I thought you where going to sleep longer" I said

"Even I thought so but it seems that your daughter is so excited that she keeps kicking me" she said as she placed her on her big tummy.

"Don't worry it will soon be over just a Few more weeks" I said with a smile.

"Just can't wait to get it over with " she said rubbing her tummy as she looked down. Looking up she spoke as she noticed David.

"Oh David, how are you doing"

"I'm doing fine Jessica, how are you" he said with a smile.

"Fine thank you"

"And the baby"

"She's doing wonderfully great "

"You hungry cause I made dinner"

"Oh what did you make" she asked excited

"Italian pasta and roasted chicken"

"Wow. Then what are we waiting for... let's eat " she said and we moved to the dinning table for dinner
