I'm looking at Luke how he smiles at her, and soon he plants a kiss on her lips. It sounds selfish, but that should be me. I guess I don't deserve love after everything that I have done in the past year. He doesn't know that I'm watching, and he will never know that I threw myself into the devil's world, just to let him free.
I lost them.
I lost him, and this time it's for good.

Back to the present day

At the garage

"Thank you Alexis. You managed to fix this car quickly"

"That's my job. Take care of it and if you ever need help, you know my phone number", I say.

"Sure thing. Thank you again and have a great night"

"You too!", and I go back inside.

I start to clean the mess that I made, putting everything into its place and after I was done with the cleaning, I close the garage.

I go to the car and I start the engine, making my way home.
It's been 2 years since the incident from the beach, which seemed like a warning to me, even now I'm thinking about it.
It haunts me everywhere I go, every time I try to sleep, to work to go for a walk.
And even these days I still have no clue who did that.

Soon I arrived at home. I take the car in the garage and I go inside.

"How was your day, baby?", Luke says to me.

"As usual. Nothing new. Just emptiness in the garage"

"I know. How about a break this weekend? ", he says.

"Yeah, sure. That would be great", I say with a light smile.

"Hey, Alex", Damien says.

"Hey, bro"

"What's up?"

"Nothing much. Same old story. Did you find anything about the incident?", I ask.

"Nothing. No matches, no name, nothing. It's like this person is a ghost"

"Yeah, I could say that", I say. "Okay then, I'm going to crash the bed"

"So early?",Damien asks.

"Yeah, I feel a little bit dizzy, but I will be fine", I smile a little.

"Okay, I will come soon too", Luke adds.

"I will be waiting", I say and I go upstairs. I open the door and I close it. I change into shorts and a t-shirt from Luke and I go to the balcony. I need to clear my mind.

"Hey, don't be rough on you", I hear Luke.

"2 years without any answers. I don't know what it will be next. Me? You? May? The guys? I'm scared Luke. I have been living in this fear, since the incident. Too many questions left and no clues. I'm going crazy", I say.

"It's true that we don't have any clues, but we will be together, we will work together. We are going to find out who did that"

"What if we call John?", I ask.

"We already did that. He didn't pick up the phone. It went straight to the voice mail", Luke answers.

"Isn't strange that John didn't give any signs of being alive all this time?"

"Now that you mention it, yes, it's strange. But he couldn't have been behind the incident. He's not that type", Luke says.

"You're right though. He helped me, you. Maybe he got in the wrong direction while he was taking care of something. After all this is the reason why he left"

"We will start to investigate from there. I'm not trying to get your hopes high, but I don't think we will find something. John likes to work without any traces"

"It's worth a try"

"Yeah, you're right. I'm going to take a shower, don't stay too much, it's getting colder outside", he said and then he kissed my forehead.

"I will stay just a couple of minutes longer"

My phone buzzed, and I got up from the chair, and I made my way to the nightstand and I picked up the phone.

Unknown :Twinkle twinkle little star

Me: Who are you?

Unknown : Your worst nightmare

I couldn't bring myself to type anything. I just stood there with fear, not knowing what was going on.
