Remember when I said that I got a bit inspired by Madoka Magica while I was making my concept?
yeah.... Even the enemies (or what the magical girls from my concept fight) are a bit inspired from it...
EXCEPT WE DON'T TURN INTO THEM AFTER SOME CAUSE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT
who would want that anyway? XD
So anyway,
The ones magical girls from my concept have to fight are called Monolisites, and they are basically a bit like witches from the anime, but different.
So Monolisites are the embodiment and manifestation of the crimes and wrongdoings people in that particular area has done. The Monolisites' dark energy caused by crimes just causes the people to do crimes and other bad stuff. When I mean by "crime", it can be as simple as littering to downright murdering other people. They're basically demon spirits that can only be seen by magical girls and people who have potential to be magical girls. So Monolisites don't hide in Labyrinths, they just wander and patrol around a place (whether it'd be a park, school, street, some part of a city, or just anywhere indoors or outdoors), spreading its negative energy as people sleep (it will take effect the next day or once they go to the place, they'd be infected). If you want to know if a Monolisite is inhabiting the area, there's a monolith placed anywhere on the area (which is why they are called "MONOLI"sites).
Here's how to defeat the Monolisite:
1. Locate the Monolisite's Monolith.
It's usually located at the center of the Monolisite's battle zone, or it can be placed anywhere, or it can be hidden very well (like hide and seek). It depends on the Monolisite. The Monolith has some sort of peculiar magical energy that the magical girl can sense. Well, it would be boring to just find the monolith only; so sometimes, the Monolisite's familliars or minions would attempt to hinder your progress by attacking you, so (obviously) killing them will be an option.2. Destroy the monolith.
I don't really have to explain this one XD
But monoliths have some sort of weakness. For example:
If the monolith is weak against water and strong against fire, you have to use water-based attacks instead of fire since that will make the monolith and the Monolisite stronger and YOU DON'T WANT THAT. If you want to know what element does the monolith have, the color of the symbol can tell you.
Red or any warm color: Fire
Blue or any shades of blue: Water
Any earthy colors (Brown and Green for example): Earth
Any monotone-ish colors (White, Gray, Silver, etc.): AirAir stronger than Earth
Fire stronger than Water
Air (normal damage) Fire
Water stronger than Earth
Water (normal damage) Air
Fire weaker than Earth3. NOW YOU'RE FREE TO DESTROY THE MONOLISITE
this should be self-explanatory... XD
Without the monolith, the Monolisite will be a LOT weaker, and be a bit easier to beat too! Their minions all disappear due to the lack of energy to summon or control them, so the Monolisite will have to defeat the magical girl all by themselves.
Once they are defeated, they drop some loot like small power orbs that help increase and give a small boost in your power, a crystal stone that I'll explain after some time.
Stronger Monolisites give more little orbs and 3 or 4 crystals.
Also, a black little figure would be begging for help. The little figure is the embodiment of wrongdoings being taken over or overpowered by the good deeds and stuff. Use your power to go remove the dark energy from the figure until it forms into a little solid ball. The figure would thank you, purify the dark energy ball, and release the purified energy ball into the air as it explodes with pure magical energy that causes people to do good instead of bad.
I have a proper name for that figure, but it would be explained in later chapters.
Also... GOD THIS IS SO LONG...
