I was sitting in class, which was interestingly boring to be in. I was falling off to sleep in the class, so I excused myself to grab a drink. Just as I had gotten to the fountain, I could hear noises coming from around the corner. I turned the corner to see the pack beating Rafael up.

"Hey!" I yelled and they looked at me.

"Mind your business, Half-Breed." The Alpha says and I suck in my teeth.

"I was going to go easy on you, thanks for giving me the reason not to." I said, as I waved my hand and immediately they dropped to the ground, "Leave or I will make sure the air leaves your body permanently."

The Alpha stares me down for a second before he motions for him and his boys to leave. Once they had ran off, I dropped to my knees and I put my hand on Rafael slightly.

"Are you okay?" I said, and he knocks my hand off. He looks up at me with a bloody mouth and bright gold eyes.

"Get off me! Just stay away from me!" He yells, I jumped back as he gets up and limps away. I watched him limp off but I get up and I immediately follow him.

I made sure no one else was around and I walked in the direction I knew he was going. Once I got out to the Mill, I could hear grunting and things being smashed. I walked closer and I could see Rafael throw a table at the wall, shattering it.

"Rafael! Raf!" I yelled getting his attention and he looks at me shocked.

"I told you to leave me alone!" He yelled at me and I stood there.

"I don't like being told what to do, ask my father." I said, and he walks up to me grabbing my arms roughly.

"It's not safe to be around me! Get away!"

"Look at me." I said, grabbing his face, "Close your eyes and breathe." His hand rested on my forearm, and it seemed he was calming down.

I put my hand on his chest, hearing him control his breathing as he calmed down. I opened up my eyes seeing Rafael looking straight at me. Suddenly, his lips were on mine and I had my hands resting on his face, keeping him there before we pulled apart.

"Was that magic?"

"No, I'm an angry person myself and I had help to calm me down."

"You don't seem angry." Rafael says and I smirked.

"You don't know me." I said, and he nods.

"I'm sorry if I scared you."

"You didn't. But you need to submit to your alpha." I said, and he rolls his eyes walking off, "As much as I wish I was kidding, I've seen these things before. All the packs have to go through it."

"What did he mean by Half-breed?" Rafael asked and I pursed my lips.

"It's a word for Nephilim's. Half human and half angel, it's a stupid word." I said, and he nods.

"Charmeine." He says, pointing to behind me and I looked to see the whole floor covered in webs.

"I feel like I just threw up in my own mouth." I said, looking at the webbed up room.

We walked up towards the stairs, glancing at one another before walking up the stairs. I looked around until my eyes landed on something wrapped in cobwebs, making me curious. I continued walking over until I pushed back some of the webs.

I see someone wrapped up in it, before I could say anything she opens her eyes making us jump back. I had stumbled back landing on the rails, coincidentally on the webs. I tried to pull myself out and I happened to just as Rafael got pulled into it.

"I'm stuck."

"Oh, you're kidding me?" I said, looking at the tall boy. Just as I was helping Rafael, I hear someone walk in and I see it was some human jock. Before I could call out to him, he turns revealing half of his face gone as he jumps onto the support beam.

"He's coming, do something." Rafael says, and I collected the gas in the air turning it into fire as I threw a fire ball at him.

"You did it!" Rafael says and I looked to see a huge spider shed the skin.

"Arachnae, of course." Just as it jumped to the third floor, Landon appears holding a long pipe.

"Hey, douchebag!" He yells and the spider turns to him, making his face turn white. He runs out and I see Hope running back in, making me sigh.

"Am I happy to see you again." I said, and Hope looks at the spider with disgust. I helped Rafael out by burning the webs before we both jumped from the third floor. I look at Hope, who was standing next to the Saltzman twins.

"We need to kill that spider, how?" Hope asked me just as the spider jumps down.

"I fight it now, it'll be too late." I said, and then I looked to the twins, "Siphon off us."

"Are you sure?" Josie, the brunette asked, I give her a look and they grabbed onto my hands before raising their free hands.

"Repeat after me- Imperium fluctus malleus." Hope says and they began to chant, the wind in the room had picked up and I could feel my eyes glowing right now as I hear the spider squeal.

They kept chanting before thrusting their hands at the creature, shouting the last incantation. The spider let out one last screech of pain, before it rose in the air and exploded in a giant burst of orange goo.

We all looked at each other before we stepped out of the mill, the boys eyes were on us in awe. We reached them and I looked down at myself, wanting to throw up.

"Delicious." I said, and the group let out a little chorus of laughs.

We made it back to the school where I was under the shower for so long just to feel clean. I had changed, just as I was drying out my hair only in a bra and pants. I turned around and I looked at my back, the scars of where my wings were. I didn't think much on it, before there was a knock.

"Coming." I said, pulling my shirt on and I opened the door to see Rafael, "Hey, what's up?"

"I'm taking your advice and I'm going to submit to the pack." He says and I smirked.

"You should always listen to me." I said, and he chuckles.

"I also wanted to talk to you about today, I shouldn't have kissed you. I only just lost my girlfriend and jumping into something like that is too soon." Rafael says and I smiled.

"I know and it's fine, I'm not expecting anything from you. Not now." I said, smirking a little and he does the same.

"So, we're cool?"

"Yeah. Friends?" I said, I held out my hand and he shook it, looking at me.

"Friends." He says, and he doesn't break off eye contact making me chuckle as we were still shaking hands. I looked down at our still connected hands then back at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Hey teen wolf, this is the part where you let go of my hand." I said, and he chuckles pulling his hand away.
