Fast forwarding to the next day. Brandon was there, checking in on him quite frequently and making sure Lucas was alright. He found himself caring, a lot, for this S-Class wizard.

Lo'Pho had left and given them some guidance how how to treat Lucas and what to do. If anything were to happen they were to call him again. Ritchie thanked him and was sure to repay him for this.

Getting back to Brandon, he sat still in his chair, the one next to Lucas's bed, and just... stared. Waiting. Unblinking.

Lucas stirred, and let out a soft grunt as he began to walk. His eyes fluttering open only to shut from the light outside. His body seemed to ache and his head felt like it was hit by a frozen lamb leg. "Ow....."

Mario had passed out in the guildhall waiting for any signs of life inside the room Lucas was in.

Brandon suddenly perked up, his eyebrows have never shot up faster. Quickly, Brandon masked his expression back to neutral, watching as Lucas slowly opened his eyes. "Welcome back sunshine."

Ritchie sighed at the sight of Mario, that boy has been nothing but worried for Lucas. And he really couldn't blame him. Ritchie has been trying to repair the damages to the island, but he decided to take a break just so he could get the Cavern Dragon Slayer a dry blanket to lay gently on top of him.

Lucas jumps slightly and looks at Brandon panic in his eyes. Once he saw who it actually was, he became calm again, but not before he turned a shade of pink. "H-hi...."

Mario let's out soft yawn as he shifts. He seemed to be having a calming dream.

Brandon gave a small nod back, allowing a tiny smile to cross his face at the sight of Lucas. "Hi." He greeted back, eyeing Lucas up and down for a moment. "...How are you feeling?" Ah, there was that hidden concern again.

Ritchie had to stifle a chuckle, awww. He gently adjusts the blanket on Mario's back, making sure it doesn't fall before he begins to quietly take his leave...

"Like Zero hit me with a metal barrel." He let's out a soft grunt as he sets up better. "But other than that, better. My insides don't hurt anymore..." he hadn't noticed the fact Brandon checked him out.

Mario had unnoticedly grabbed a hold of Ritchie's cloak, making the Guildmaster unable to move much further. "Stay..." his voice was soft and pleading.

Brandon gave an amused huff to that, not a chuckle, but close. "Well, that's a good sign." He wasn't so sure about Lucas sitting up, cause hey, he's still hurt.

Ritchie suddenly came to an abrupt stopped, feeling his cloak pull him back, what? With a raised eyebrow he turned his head back around... only for his eyebrows to stitch together, a wash of sympathy crashing over him. But. He has, things to do... but surely, they can wait, right? "...Okay." Ritchie quietly agrees, a soft smile on his face.

Lucas looks at Brandon through his eyelashes, "Did I hurt anyone...." his voice was weak. He couldn't remember much of what happened after talking with Mario.

Mario lets out a small sound of joy as he pulls Ritchie to him gently. He was happy not to be alone right now.

Brandon felt something twinge rather painfully in his heart, that tone and Lucas didn't mix well in his opinion. "Uhhhmm." Brandon paused, unsure of how to explain this. "Yes, and no."

Ritchie allowed himself to quietly chuckle, he lets Mario pull him gently over to him. And when he was in arms distance, Ritchie didn't hesitate to slowly wrap his arms around him. Keeping him close, as if nothing could hurt him anymore. He would have never imagined when he had started this guild, that he'd be cuddling with one of his guild members.
