Pretty Girl

I sat up as I heard my alarm ringing. It's Saturday yet, I woke up really early. I quickly went out of my room for breakfast. Mom was shocked to see me up early in the morning. "It's a miracle you are up early, Minhee-ya." She said as I entered the kitchen to see her cooking. "Aren't I always up so early?" I said, flashing a smile before bending down to kiss her cheek. She just scoffed "yes, you're always up early for dinner." She sarcastically replied while turning the stove off. I grabbed some banana milk and went out to our dining room where my older brother and dad are. "Woah! What's with today? You're surprisingly early." Dad greeted me. "Hmm... Today must be special." Hyung said, wiggling his eyebrows. I just grinned at my brother and sat down beside him for breakfast. Yes, he is right, today is a special day. I'm going to be with Y/N noona

After breakfast, I went up and dressed in nice clothes. I want to be extra handsome for her. I quickly bid goodbye to my parents before hyung could tease me further about going on a date. That doesn't sound bad at all, I thought.

I walked on my way to her house. Honestly, I am more excited than nervous, I am curious about your reaction.

The weather is so nice. As cheesy as it may sound, the sunlight is gracing us with its presence. There's a floating sensation, it makes me feel giddy. I ran to your house. I am too excited to start my day with you. My heart is beating so loud that I can hear it as I near to your house. I checked myself on my phone's camera. I want to look good for her. I want to be better than her admirers.

I rang the doorbell, and she opened their door. I was stunned when I saw her. She's wearing a white shirt tucked in her denim pants and a jacket over it. Her cheeks were a little red like an apple with a light tint on her lips. Simple yet, cute, and gorgeous at the same time.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Minhee-ya," she said as she went out of her house. "Ah- It's ok Y/N noona." I said. Stammering a little. I find myself so fascinated by her. "Shall we go now?" She said as she pulled me with her. "W-wait noona slow down! You might trip" I said as we ran to the station together, her hands still in mine. "Aye... Relax, I won't. I want us to get there as fast as we could." She said, seem to be very excited.

She looks like a kid who is excited to eat some candies. I love every side of her including this excited one. I wish to be able to see her smile every day. We took a bus going to Lotte World. Her favorite place in the world as she always put it.

She squealed in delight as soon as we got there. She is prettier when she smiles, her eyes are glowing with joy. It's rare to see her like this.

We bought some headbands like she wanted, we took a picture with some cute stuff at the store and we also took a picture by the carousel. We sat down by the bench as we went for a snack after playing a little with the rides outdoors. I shrugged off my jacket and gave it to noona as she sat on the bench. "Noona, use this as a cover." I said, placing it over her lap, it's a little cold today, so I gave it to her. I gave her food and drinks. We talked a lot of random things while finishing the corndog we were eating. "Noona..." I said as I gave her a tissue. She seems confused, so I wipe off the ketchup stain on the corner of her lips caused by the corndog we are currently eating. "T-thank you Minhee-ya." She said. Wah~ she is so pretty with a little blush on her face.

We tried multiple rides after eating. The whole time she has her arms or hand wrapped around mine whenever we are riding something scary and heart dropping. She is known as a strong and independent one, but she is scared of riding a Viking and she screams a lot in the haunted house. She looks cute and vulnerable; it makes me want to protect her. I can't help but to laugh at her weird yet, cute antics.

We went to see a parade show after. She was all focused and amazed with what was shown. "Look Minhee-ya! It's pretty!" She said, pointing at whatever "yes, it is pretty." I said while looking at her.

After enjoying the day in the amusement park, we decided to go to Han river. Perfect time to be there, I thought. It is already late in the afternoon. There are quite a lot of people, mostly families and couples out on a date. I wish we could be like them, I thought seeing a couple walking around, hands intertwined. We went to rent a bike. We rode it together. She is seated at the back while I am the one who drove it and she is holding on my shirt.

We are walking around the park as the sun is preparing to set. It is picture perfect. She is wearing my padded jacket over hers feeling the cool wind against her soft apple colored cheeks as we are looking for a bench by the river while I walked behind her with her bag on my shoulder. The wind is gently blowing her hair and the sunlight basking her form. She is over all ethereal. She looks like an angel. I secretly fished out my phone from my pocket and took a photo of her. She looks perfect, I thought.

We stopped at the nearest unoccupied seat. "Aren't you cold, uri Minhee-nim?" She asked using my childhood nickname she used to call me. "I am fine noona." I said as I stood next to her. Watching the sun to set. We settled in a comfortable silence for a minute before I finally spoke "Y/N noona..." I said, calling her attention "hmm... was it?" She replied, looking at me. "Noona..." I stopped, trying to calm the erratic beating of my heart.

"You can call me by name, you know." She said, smiling softly. I can feel my face reddened after hearing that. "Noo... Y/N I have something to tell you... I- I have liked you a lot since we were kids. You had my heart when you complimented me and called me a pretty boy. You make my heartbeat faster whenever you are with me. Even though I am younger, it didn't stop me from falling in love with you. Y/N noona, can you be my girlfriend? Can you take my pretty heart and be your man?" I confessed.

I dared not look at her after my confession. I was a little embarrassed by what I said since I am not the kind of guy who is sweet and cute like my friends. My face must've been really red as of this moment. "Why are you embarrassed, Minhee?" She said, laughing softly. "Look at me palli." She added. I turn my back on her, I am so shy with everything. "Ya" she said softly as I felt her arms around me. "How can I say yes if you weren't looking?" I am beyond shocked from what I heard; did I really hear that right?

I got out of her hug and turned to her "J-jeongmal?!" I said placing my hands on her shoulders. Surprise is evident on my face. Is this real? I must be dreaming. She laughed a little, I probably looked like a surprised maltese but, I don't care about that right now. "Yes, Kang Minhee it is a yes. I have liked you since the day I saw you wandering around the playground. I fell in love with you when we talked for the first time. You are younger yet, you are so brave and mature that I can't help falling for you as you grow up." She said softly with that pretty smile of hers, a hand on my cheek and another on my shoulder.

I can't help it, I pulled her close and hugged her as tight as I could not contain my happiness. The girl of my dreams, the one I love is now, mine. "I promise, I'll love you forever." I said before kissing Y/N on the forehead before hugging her again.
