Chapter 70

AN: Last Chapter. Ugh, I'm going to cry when this is over. I am so grateful to each and every single one of you who have supported my work. I had written books before which were a success to me at that time but then I would get writers block and lose all my readers. This book was the start of a new beginning. As with all my books, I don't really have a plan. I have a few ideas of things that I want to happen but for the most part, I'm making it up as I go along. 

Thank you all for staying even when I don't upload, if anything thank you for increasing. Thank you also for tuning into my other books as well, it is all much appreciated.

This is the end of LUXE, there will be no sequel. I originally wanted to do one but then I realised that we covered so much in this book and there just wasn't anything to conclude. Luxe will still appear in other books so you haven't seen the last of her.

Michael and I got married.

We did not plan to get married as soon as we did, it just ended up being a spur of the moment. We had been living in complete bliss, one day we decided to wear our favourite outfits and headed to the court. My parents were pissed that we didn't have an actual wedding but it didn't matter to us, it didn't matter me.

I'm happy now.

My net worth has increased by $250 million which means that I am now valued as $350 million. This is all thanks to my career and my fans who have supported me throughout everything that I have done. Luxe Dia Cosmetics has been doing exceptionally well, I've won a few awards for my makeup line and it was recently voted best cosmetics line. Luxe Glass has become so widely known to the point where it sells out completely within minutes of it being restocked.

My latest album, Matrix has become my best selling album to date. It was actually the highest selling album of the year which led to multiple awards and plaques being handed to me. At some point I was the biggest artist in the world which is completely mind boggling to me but I am forever grateful. Even though my parents divorced, they came together to throw me a massive party in the Maldives.  

I took a much needed break and now I'm back to posting some youtube videos. It's not like before but something is better than nothing. Sometimes Michael will just vlog our day and post that which makes the fans go crazy. Whenever Michael is featured in anything that I do, I either get positive or negative remarks because I keep forgetting that the world knows about the abuse. I haven't touched up on the subject again and I find that it's best to leave it at that.

I only allowed Michael to move into my home after we got married. It took me sometime to fully trust him but I'm 96% there but only because I still get flashbacks of who he was. We began attending therapy once we became engaged and it has honestly saved our relationship. Communicating was something that Michael struggled to do but through therapy, I really got to see things through his perspective. It didn't mean that I felt sorry for him but I got to see and understand things from his point of view.

My brothers, Justin and Quincy are still living at my house which makes me happy. My home is pretty big so I don't always cross their paths and vice versa. Eventually they will move out but I do feel more comfortable with them being close by and it has really helped us grow closer as a family.

After releasing my album, I took a step back from music to focus on my little family. Due to certain circumstances, Michael was able to gain full custody of Adonis and Maya just adores having her older brother around. Having Adonis around has changed the dynamics in our household but I am happy to have the kid around because he is a well mannered boy.
