Chapter 6: Trouble in the Familiar Forest

(Y/N)'s POV:

As I was sleeping soundly in bed, the bane of every sleeping people's existences appeared; the dreaded MORNING SUN.

The light from that accursed sun was shining right in my eyes as I slowly began to wake up. After waking up, I noticed Asia sleeping peacefully on my chest. I chuckled before rubbing the top of her head.

I then gently get out of bed, so I don't wake up Asia and put on my clothes. (A/N: and before anyone asks, no they didn't have sex.)

Asia then begins to stir as she rubs her eyes and notices me wake. "Good Morning, Asia." I said politely. "Morning, (Y/N)." She said with a slight blush on her cheeks. A knock was heard. I walked towards the door and opened it, revealing Rias.

"Good morning (Y/N), Asia." Rias said. "Morning." I said. "Good Morning, Rias." Asia said. "Come on guys, Sirzechs here." Rias said. Asia was shocked, but I was confused. "Who's Sirzechs?" I asked. "He's my brother." Rias said before she walked away.

POV CHANGE (3RD PERSON):

After being alerted about Sirzechs arrival to the ORC club, (Y/N) and Asia walked into the meeting room to see a man with red hair like Rias, a developing beard, armor & a cape, as he was accompanied by a grey haired woman in a maids outfit.

"Ah, your all here." He said as he noticed (Y/N). "And this must be the Witcher you guys meet, correct?" He asked as everyone nodded. "Well then, it's nice to meet you. I'm Sirzechs, Rias' brother, and this is Grayfia." He gestured towards the gray haired maid. "Greetings." She said with a bow.

"Sirzechs, not that I don't mind you coming to visit, but normally you come here if somethings going on, right?" Rias asked in suspicion as Sirzechs let out a sigh. "Yes Tias, something is wrong. Just recently, we detected a large amount of energy in three locations, one of them being in the familiar forest. And whatever it is, it's unlike any devils magic I've ever seen." Sirzech explained, as (Y/N) was confused. "Wait, devils?" He asked as he turns towards Rias and her Peerage. Rias lets out a sigh before bat wings sprout out from her back. "You see, (Y/N), we're-" Rias said before (Y/N) cut her off. "Not of the natural, or in short terms, not human?" He asked, as everyone was shocked about this. "How did you know?" Akeno asked as (Y/N) grabs his medallion. "My medallion hums whenever Magic's around. It hummed when I first met Rias, Sona & Issei. That's when I knew something was off." (Y/N) explained, causing everyone in the room to be shocked. "But the only reason I didn't say anything sooner was because it could cause some discomfort, and also because some people aren't ready to learn the truth." (Y/N) explained, causing everyone to nod at this before (Y/N) turned to Sirzechs.

"Now, what's this about the trouble in this "Familiar Forest"?" (Y/N) asked. "Something is causing the Familiars to become unusually aggressive, as their was several reports saying that a bunch of people were injured greatly by the Familiars." Sirzechs explained, as everyone was shocked at this. "But Familiars aren't known for attacking people without reason." Rias said. "Maybe it's not the Familiars fault." (Y/N) said, causing everyone to turn to him. "What do you mean?" Kira asked. "I believe this is the work of something that came from the energy Sirzechs mentioned earlier. I believe it could be a portal, like the one that brought me here." (Y/N) theorized. "So, if it's alright with Sirzechs, Me, Rias and her peerage would like to investigate the forest and see what's causing this." (Y/N) offered, as Sirzechs was in deep thinking before letting out a sigh. "Deal, you guys will head to the familiar forest and investigate. I'll alert Zatuji about this, and have him make sure no one else enters the familiar forest." Sirzechs said before he opened a magic circle and entered in it, with Grayfia following, but not before blowing (Y/N) a kiss.

As the girls blush at Grayfia's action, Issei grow jealous at (Y/N). "First the kendo club, then Sona's peerage, my girls and now Grayfia?! Maybe I could use this thing in the Familiar Forest to get rid of (Y/N)." Thought Issei. "Everyone, let's head to the familiar forest." Rias said as she opened a magic circle. Everyone walked through and came out to see a forest with a red night sky.
