Chapter 18: The Big Kyoto City

(Y/N)'S POV

As the train was moving, I looked around to see millions of people here. "Hmm, guess Kyoto is a very popular place." I thought to myself.

I then pulled out a piece of paper as I read it.

Dear (Y/N):

We, the people of Kyoto, have been dealing with a very large and extremely aggressive creature that's attacking everything and everyone in sight.

As the attacks continued, we've grown more and more desperate for help. And that's why we've called you. We have heard of your good deeds and how your kind slay monsters.

And don't worry about payment, we've got not your money, but also special for you once you've killed whatever monster that's prowling the streets.

"A large and aggressive monster in a populated area? Hmm, most of the large monsters that I know of avoid places like Kyoto, why would one be here?" I asked myself.

"Attention passengers, we've just arrived at Kyoto station. Please make sure you have all of your possessions and belongings before exiting the train." The announcer said through the speakers.

I walked out the train to see a very large city, filled with thousands of people. I noticed a woman holding a sign with my name on it. I walked over to the woman. "Excuse me, but were you expecting me?" I said.

"So, your (Y/N)? The famous Witcher president Yasaka told me about?" She said as I nodded. "Good, now follow me and we'll discuss more about the case." She said before guiding me towards a restaurant.

(POV CHANGE: 3RD PERSON) (SCENE CHANGE: RAMEN RESTAURANT)

(Y/N) followed the woman to a ramen restaurant. "Ramen? What in the hell is that?" (Y/N) asked. "You'll find out soon enough. Now, come on, we don't want to keep the president waiting." She said as she and (Y/N) entered the restaurant.

As soon as (Y/N) got inside, he was shocked to see several strange creatures. "Oh boy, I hope my presences doesn't cause a panic." (Y/N) thought to himself as a harpy waitress flew to the woman.

"Ms. Black, it's so glad to see you again." Said the harpy in a bit of a playful tone. "It's nice to see you too, Faith." Black said. Faith then took notice of (Y/N). "Oh, I see you've brought a date, huh?" She said teasingly.

Ms. Black's face blushed a bit before she recomposed herself. "No, he's not. He's actually here because president Yasaka requested it." Ms. Black said, causing Faith's jaw to drop.

"The prez?!?!" Faith asked/shouted. Ms. Black nodded. "She and her daughter are in the private room of the restaurant. Follow me." Faith said as she guided Ms. Black & (Y/N) to the private suite.

(Y/N)'s face was a bit confused. "Private room?" He whispered to Ms. Black. "Yes, you don't have anything like that where you come from?" Ms. Black asked as (Y/N) shook his head.

(SCENE CHANGE: PRIVATE ROOM)

As Ms. Black and (Y/N) entered the room, they see two woman, one very young and the other very mature. "God damn, this woman possibly puts Yennefer into shame." (Y/N) thought.

"Ah, Mr. (Y/N), it's such an honor to meet you." The older woman said as she extended a hand out. "Pleasure you meet you too, Ms...." (Y/N) said, but didn't know the woman's name. "Oh how rude of me, my name's Yasaka & this is my daughter Kunou." Yasaka introduced both her and her daughter.
