Chapter 5: Stirring Drama

(Miku's Pov)

I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shining through the living room window. I sighed and groaned as I brought the covers over my head to block out the sunlight. I heard Bang chuckle which made my ears twitch and tail sway a bit. I rolled my eyes and smelled coffee which perked me right up, it usually always does, Bang knows exactly how to get me out of bed, coffee or food, usually both.

I sat up and sighed as I yawned and stretched a bit, cracking my stiff sore muscles. I should really stop sleeping on the couch but honestly Bang needs the bed more than me so it's whatever, it's not the biggest deal in the world, I mean I've been through worse remember? I groaned a bit and rubbed my eyes tiredly as Bang handed me a cup of coffee. I smiled tiredly and thanked him "Are you excited to meet the Heroes today?" He asked, I shrugged "I mean sorta, I'm more nervous than anything" I said as my ears flattened a bit.

Bang sighed and rubbed my head which made me smile and purr a bit. He chuckled "you're going to be just fine Miku" He said, I sighed and nodded "What did you first think of the heroes?" He asked, I chuckled a bit and rolled my eyes "they looked a little silly, not gonna lie, especially the guy in the dog costume. Is that what he really is or is he just being racist?" I questioned,

Bang laughed "That's Watchdog Man. He has senses like a dog and he's faster on 4 legs than 2. The heroes are a weird bunch but they're all super strong and useful to the team in their own ways. It may take them a minute to get used to you because you're an actual girl with cat like abilities and features but I promise you, they will come around and get used to you and once you all get to know each other, things will be a lot easier and who knows, you'll make some friends and there's a few couple of young good-looking fellas in there for ya as well" Bang said and chuckled,

I blushed a bit and rolled my eyes "What's with you and Tatsu getting involved in my love life? If I want a man, then I'll get one" I stated, Bang laughed knowing that literally can't happen. I blushed with embarrassment and huffed a bit "If things go south, me and Tatsumaki will handle it okay?" Bang stated sternly, I smiled and nodded as I sipped my coffee.

Bang rubbed my head as he got up and made some breakfast before we had to go and speaking of meeting the team today, I should shower and change. I would like to look presentable enough and not embarrass myself, 'ugh who am I kidding? I'm embarrassing enough because of my cat mutation. Man I really hope this goes well and I don't lose control...Get it together Miku!' I thought and shook my head a bit of the unwanted thoughts.

I growled a bit and huffed a bit with frustration as I headed to the bathroom and turned on the shower. I stripped out of my pj's and hopped in letting out a sigh in relief as the hot water felt nice on my body. It took away the tiredness, stress and worries. I hummed slightly and sang because I love singing so why not "Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
