Why? Because I am Stardust, I do epic cosmic shit!
Warning:
• Mild swearing - because of the prompt.
• This probably doesn't make any sense.
• I had a plan for this but didn't follow it.
• I'm rushing in order to post this in time because I have had this planned for about two weeks now (but haven't had the time to actually write it XD).In the galaxy, within the depth of the universe, a gorgeous goddess is taking part in a protectors' meeting. This meeting was essential, as it provided the chance for the goddess to be promoted. Stardust. The name was given to the goddess of stars. That is who she is, the sweet, magical, protector of the stars. She made sure they never fell, she kept the star constellations in the correct form, and she made sure that every star shone brightly during the dark nights. When taking part in these tedious tasks, she never complained. Being scared of what might happen if she failed her job, she continued without question. Within this meeting, they were discussing promotions and demotions of the protectors depending on how well their jobs had been done. She wasn't excited, nor was she scared, for she knew that the promotion or demotion would be hers. Her job isn't as useful or as fun as the other protectors' jobs are, but she doesn't mind. Everything changed, though, when Stardust went through what is known to the protectors as 'the falling'. It is hard for gods and goddesses to go through the tragic event of 'the falling', having to live on Earth upon humans, and not reveal what they truly were. It was always hard, having no one to confide in, being alone to find your way and worst of all losing everyone close to you.
For Stardust to lose her job as a protector, she became a fallen goddess. Sent to live on Earth as a punishment left her destroyed and lonely. She lost everything in the space of an hour, and she didn't know why. The last she heard, she had done nothing wrong. No stars had fallen, the constellations were in place and everything was right... but apparently not. About 45 minutes in, the Great Protector lifted up his golden staff, waved it at Stardust and called,
"Stardust. You have broken the laws of a protector. You are hereby banished to Earth as punishment for your actions!"
Beyond confused, stardust had no time to panic and before she knew it she had been teleported to Earth. She had never felt so nauseous teleporting before, but when the Great Protector sent her to Earth, her head spun and she felt the need to throw up. Stardust is beautiful, with her long, brown hair and blue eyes, but it is known that when a God or Goddess falls their appearance changes. It is true. Her previously straight, light brown hair was now long and was colored a midnight black with crimson red streaks. Her electrifying azure eyes became violet, the pupil turning heart-shaped. Stardust had never heard of pupils changing shape, she had only ever seen normal circular ones, and so this was a mystery to her.As soon as she appeared on Earth, Stardust started wandering the streets of her new home. Turning a corner, she bumped into a solid chest,
"I'm sorry..." She murmured, stumbling away. The person, in which she walked into, chuckled lowly and smiled,
"It's alright, love," Stardust examines the figure's face, with his strong jawline, glittering, emerald eyes and smirk. She looked into his eyes,
"Where am I?" She asked, removing her gaze and looking around at her surroundings,
"The lovely town of Millton. You're in Britain, love. How can you not know?" He answered. Stardust looks confused,
"Who are you?" She didn't reply,
"I'm Jason, and who might you be love?" He counters, awaiting her reply. Stardust wanted nothing more than to leave this conversation, but instead, she answered, hoping that he could help her,
"I'm Stardust, I just got here..." She trailed off.Jason then took her hand and led her down a few streets. They were standing in front of a modern-looking, two-story house. Jason grabbed her hand and tugged on it slightly, leading her into the house,
"Welcome to my humble abode, love. I hope you enjoy your stay," He said, his gaze fixed on his new roommate. Although they had met less than an hour ago, it was as if they had known each other for years, and the trust between them was growing by the second. Stardust blinked twice, then slowly turned around 360° looking at the interior of the house. The house was decorated, giving off a homely feel, which helped Stardust to settle in nicely over the next few hours.
