we finally make it to the hotel

i see hannah hugging elmo and i rush through the crowded hotel and tap on her shoulder from behind after she lets go of him

she whips her head around, "evie!"

i laugh "i told you i don't like that name" i whine as i wrap my arms around her

"i've missed you so much" she hugs me as tight as possible

after we let go, hayley walks up behind us

hannah looks at her from head to toe and doesn't say anything, which is odd because hannah's the sweetest person i know

they just stare at each other, "hannah, this is hayley, and hayley this is hannah!" i break the silence

they both exchange "heys" and i leave to go see elmo

"hey elmo!" i hug him tightly

"i missed you ev" he says

"same here"

after everybody meets and hugs again we head up to hannah and elmo's room. they're staying together so there's only a king bed

we all hop on the bed

(me, hannah, elmo, hayley, chase, payton, anthony)

i missed hanging out with them. it makes all my worries go away. i love that hayley is with us. i know that once she opens up, they will love her. she's always being so lovable

"so what do y'all wanna dooo" payton asks

we all look around

last time i was in a hotel room with them, it did not end well. i laugh thinking about the 7 minutes in heaven tragedy with chase

"what's so funny?" anthony asks me

"do u remember what happened the last time we were in a hotel room together?" i giggle

chase cringes and payton laughs

"nooo" hannah laughs

"why what happened?" hayley questions us

we all look at her and then burst out laughing

"what?" she asks again

"chase and ev were in the closet for seven minutes in heaven but then her phone rang and she left without even telling us"

i cringe and burry my head in chases arm

i look up and awkwardly sit back up. i have to remember he doesn't even like me anymore.

everyone sees what's happening and it gets quiet, "so, are we playing it again or what?" anthony grins

"oh hell no" elmo says

"yes" hayley squeals and payton smiles

"nope" i cross my arms and anthony frowns

"come on ev, it'll be fun" he begs

i roll my eyes and anthony is already pulling it a bottle.

"i'm not going in that closet with anybody." i state

"who first?" payton asks

chase snatches the bottle out of anthony's hand grinning and spins it.

"oh shit chase it's gonna land on you"

the bottle slows down onto him, but just a little past him... onto me

"nope" i say, as much as i want him, i'm not going to step into that closet

"come on" chase winks "we don't have to do anything"

i roll my eyes. how can i be mad at him. literally the sweetest boy i know. i crawl off the bed and follow him into the closet. he closes the door behind us and turns on the light

i stare into his eyes

"ev, we need to talk"

"no shit sherlock" i roll my eyes again

"i'm sorry"

"yeah" i stare at him. i don't know what to say. what to talk about.

"what i did wasn't right. but i just didn't want to hurt you"

"what the fuck chase? you didn't want to hurt me so you left me hanging a couple weeks before vidcon for some 15 year old girl? how is that helping me?"

"i can explain"

"you better" i scoff

"ethan told me that i need to keep myself relevant." he pauses, "and he wanted me to date someone else. and i didn't want to rush things with us."

"am i not good enough for you?"

"no, no." he rubs his eyes, "i needed to date someone else, and cynthia was a close friend, so i asked her if we could just 'fake date' i guess so it could help our careers out."

"you couldn't have told me this?" i ask.

"ethan said it was best to keep secret for a couple weeks. i was gonna tell you at vidcon, but cynthia started to actually catch feelings for me, so i had to break it off with her."

i don't blame her...

"so what were you crying about earlier?" i ask, "if it was all fake, why were you upset?"

he looks down, "ethan was super upset with me. he was going to cancel all my 'couple' photoshoots, my vidcon meet and greets with her, and he was going to quit"

"oh my god chase i'm so sorry" i look up at him, "what are you going to do?"

"that's the thing..." he stops

"what?" i ask

he looks at me

"i don't understand"

"well since we don't have feelings for eachother..."

we? ha ha h a h a...

"wait. no."

"please ev?"

he wants ME to 'fake date' him?

"absolutely not" i cross my arms, "chase hudson, i am not going to fake date you"

"i already told ethan you would" he blurted

"YOU WHAT?" i shout

he puts his hand over my mouth and i bite him.

"what the hell was that for?" he shakes his hand

"no. i'm not doing it." i turn around. how long is this seven minutes.

"just think about it, we are both going to benefit off of it."

i turn around, "i'll think about it"

- anthony swings the door open

chase quickly grabs my jaw and kisses my lips

i pull away. i look at him and he smirks

"oh shit sorry guys" anthony stares

two can play this game. i pull chase down and kiss him back for a couple of seconds. i know he likes it, and i like it too. i pull away and wink at him

chase walks out and i follow him.

"are you guys together now?" anthony mouths at me

i shrug and walk back to the room

hayley and hannah are glaring at eachother. oh shit
